I agree, and Reese was in a picture tweeted after by vol photos, so he's there. Is it not possible Stokes has a 8am class? Not being a smarta$$, being serious...

Jarnell may have class at 8 A.M. but if you were the coach woudn't you make sure to schedule a practice when everyone can be there? Just saying...but then again, we are talking about CCM and not you. haha!

It was a workout not practice I believe

Hey, what's wrong with this? Last week this board was rift with statements that he had withdrawn from school and was in Memphis so why would he be in the team photo this morning?

Without knowing much of the situation, Jarnell didn't attend class this morning. He has, however, attended since the conclusion of Spring Break.

I don't think either are close to being NBA ready...I don't watch the NBA & couldn't care less about it, but I still don't think either would be drafted. I hope they stay

So you don't watch NBA and could care less about it but you think they won't be drafted!?!?! What would you base your opinion on then? :eek:hmy:

The more I read about stokes the more I question his character.

Him being 10 or 15 minutes late sometimes doesn't really seem like a big deal to me considering it's just econ and plenty of other people are late all the time too.

He's pretty nice in person in my opinion.

Anybody regularly 10-15 minutes late to anything shows a character flaw.

And here in lies the problem. I am certain you are in no kind of management position if you are willing to excuse this regularly

he's a college student late to class (allegedly) not a guy waiting for the opening bell. You're going off the deep end on this one

If you think there isn't a correlation between the two you have the same character flaw. Men of character show up on time for whatever is required of them. Since spring break stokes has stayed at home for multiple days missing class attending nba games, misses workouts, and is habitually late for class. Red flags!!

I'm sorry. I'm not excusing his tardiness, but you are passing an awful lot of judgement off on nothing more than rumor and conjecture.

and now a college student is allegedly missing class? :yikes:

Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes... The dead rising from the grave! Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!

True. My opinion is based off a combination of things read on here including hubbs saying jarnell needed to improve his work ethic. All these things seems to support that notion. That is if they are true

LOL at bashing a 19 year old after finding out he may be late to ECON on occasion and skipped a couple days of class. Get a grip.

I was late and missed class all the time in undergrad (finished with a degree in Marketing with a high GPA).
As a 28 yr old, I now never miss work, am always on time, balance work, business travel, getting my MBA at night and having a 7 mo old daughter. I do it all and am on time for all of it.

Just because a person is a little lazy while in undergrad doesn't mean they are doomed to have "character flaws" forever.

SHEESH!

Would it have any effect on his ability to achieve his full potential while at tenn helping us win enough games to hear out names called on selection Sunday???

That's the topic here.

Not achieving one's potential and character flaw is far from the same thing. I would thing only about 1 % if that many people achieve their full potential. That does not mean they have character flaws.
