His dad played for Monte in Tampa....Robert may not be able to speak with UT coaches, but I'd be surprised if messages haven't been relayed through casual conversation between Monte and Eugene Marve.

Would not surprise me if ESPN was wrong. Everything I have read has pointed to UT. I'd expect O and W on Marve, JMO

if we didn't get Marve then that opens up the door for the frosh recruits and for Cam. Not a bad thing at all.

No, here it is...

Sources have informed me that Robert Marve has informed coaches last night he will play for the Vols.

Marve was in Knoxville this past week touring campus. He was unable to visit with coaches, but was looking at what Knoxville had to offer. It appears, a lot.

Marve would potentially join the Vols in June, and would be eligible to play in 2010. He would then have at least 2 years of eligibility left.
