Until FlVol53 and Hubbs say that he is a Boilermaker, I will not believe it. I'm sure tharinger got their info from Joe Shad...

Obviously, I was wrong on that one. I thought he would end up at Tennessee, but he is going to end up at Purdue unless something changes. I did understand today that he has never applied for school at Tennessee.

I was worried this would happen since his quote about liking Purdue's spread offense system a few days ago. I think he was about ready to pick UT a few days ago, so Hubbs, FlVol53, and others were probably right at the time, but Marve (according to ESPN) has had a change of heart since then. He's not supposed to announce until Friday, so maybe things will change again before then.

I think he'd be a great addition, but also not a big loss if he goes to Purdue.

He's the most credible source on VolNation or Rivals. Shad's "source" is probably a Purdue homer

How have I missed FlVol53 posting on Volnation...I've never noticed the name (or it even being mentioned here) until today....

He doesn't post on VN, only Rivals. I meant that he is the most credible source of either site, not that he posts on both. But everyone on Rivals is saying that FlVol53 has never missed a call like this before.

And remember how badly ESPN missed on all their calls on and after NSD. They were wrong on Brown, Jackson, Teague, and Nuke.

This whole thing is funny. He has said he is making a Friday announcement/decision, yet ESPN and others say he's going somewhere 3 days before anything is set to announce. Won't be the first time they are wrong, and it won't be the last. Marve may go there, but I don't think this is over in the least.

Hubbs is only basing that off the ESPN article. If ESPN is wrong, then Hubbs is wrong. While he is a rock solid reporter, his calls on recruits are spotty at best.

Yes, but Hubbs isn't normally wrong either.

The applying for school thing is important because he wants to enroll in summer school...which starts in June.

However, I could be wrong. Not stating it as fact. That comment from Hubbs just peaked my interest and I was working from memory.

I hope it is July. I want Marve.
