Maybe if people living in one state on one side of the country try to make their rules for people living in a state on the other side of the country.I actually do believe that if states get more power u will see ALOT more separation in each state then now and the possibility of a newer Confederate States of America . Take that info however u want
There are already 50 different state governments. You keep ignoring the fact that a state government is much easier to replace than our federal government.
State governments with much more limited power than they would under a decentralized government. That brings power which brings the money and that brings corruption.
Ok, you have still not explained why they would be more corrupt than our federal government or how they would be less accountable to their citizens than our current federal government. Right now we have corrupt state governments because the majority of people do not pay attention to them due to the fact our federal government has more impact on their lives AND a corrupt federal government that is completely unaccountable to the citizenry.
Decentralization puts more focus on the state governments which are easier to hold accountable.
Right now these are gigs that people don't want. When the money comes... corrupt people will want them. They will become just as unwieldy though on a smaller scale.
I would say the reason people don’t look into local government much is simple put it’s a losing battle for most people . If u live in a predominantly red or blue state winning local elections as the other party is nearly impossible.Ok, you have still not explained why they would be more corrupt than our federal government or how they would be less accountable to their citizens than our current federal government.
