The reality is that such occurrences are the exception and not the rule. It is a media fantasy that the rich pay a lower tax rate. Even the guy on 60 minutes last night kept saying that was this case but it isn't true.
Get out of here with your facts. The average voter does not care about the facts or fact checking.
You keep making your argument based on logic, rational, facts, economics, and policy. I am not arguing that. I am simply trying to inform you how the average voter reacts to different things in the campaign. You ought to ask your freshman class how they feel about CEO's, their perceived "tax exceptions/tax loopholes", and their overall trust/mistrust of them. It might be eyeopening for you to immerse yourself into the average American electorate's mind.
