Ron Paul Can't Win

I believe military action against Iran will be the final nail in our coffin. That is why this election is so very important.
We are ruled by warmongers, half of which have never even served in the military and have no clue of what war is. We are losing our civil liberties at an Alarming rate and no one seems to care.
I am honestly scared for the future of our country.

Being a warmonger who has never served is okay because other persons volunteer to serve...

We're not so different, you and I....

There's a different side to Iran that we don't really see. I feel like we could have a lot bigger impact in shaping things there if we were to become friendly. They seem a lot more western than I had imagined.

I don't know why I have the need to say this lately, but...

True story:

I was a freshman in college about 20 years ago. Me and the new guys on campus were going thru the freshman orientation "yearbook" and looking over some of the new girls that were coming on campus. The girl that got the most votes as the hands down, most beautiful girl on that campus out of that bunch was a Persian/Iranian chick (we would latter find out). She was probably the most down to Earth and modest girl of her ago you would probably ever meet, also. All I remember is that her last name was Gupta. Rednecks, black guys, Jewish guys, Indians, whomever... there was no doubt she was head and shoulders above anything else on campus by all demographics.

I never forgot that. That video makes me want to consider a trip to Iran.

what I would like to see from RP is some ads that go after Obama with the same ferocity he's gone after Newt and other candidates.

It wasn't in a political ad, but Paul said that Obama is not a dictator or a king in a clip a few days ago regarding his recess appointment of Cordray.

I don't know what more red meat you could want.

how about some of Ron Paul's Constitutional conservatism vs. Obama's "living breathing document" claptrap?

should he secure the nomination, he's going to have to come up with something a little more hard hitting than "Obama isn't a dictator".

Here is a spreadsheet everyone should look at who is planning to vote in the primaries. The data is all pulled from the candidates' websites so it doesn't have off the cuff or misstated ideas. It does not have the media's interpretations. It is simply what can be pulled from the candidates' official sites.

Good stuff thanks for the info. People should really take a hard look at that.

Huntsman outraged at ad targeting adopted daughters | Reuters

(Reuters) - Republican presidential hopeful Jon Huntsman and members of his family expressed outrage on Friday at an advertisement targeted at his adopted daughters by a group supporting rival Ron Paul.

An online ad authored by "NHLiberty4Paul" shows footage of Huntsman with daughters Gracie, who was adopted from China, and Asha, adopted from India, when they were infants.

"American values. Or Chinese," the ad asks to a soundtrack of Chinese music. It calls Huntsman "the Manchurian Candidate" and ends with an image of Huntsman dressed as China's former communist leader Mao Zedong, and the words "Vote Ron Paul."

Paul, a Texas congressman, disavowed the ad during an interview on Friday on CNN, but said he could not control the actions of all his supporters.

no candidate needs supporters like this

Wow..that's crazy and classless. I am a Paul supporter by all means but from time to time I question some of the other Paul supporters, there are some real tools out there I will say. Unreal.

Now you see what the rest of us are on about sometimes.

It doesn't really tell you a whole lot other than what we all already know about RP.

I thought it told a lot about the candidates. You can see where their priorities are in what they want to fund. You can also see where they either don't have ideas about something or refuse to tell us what they want to do about something. I find it hard to trust someone who can't articulate definitive ideas.

So far tonite I have been impressed with Ron Pauls' answers in the debate. Perry and Gingrich are still clowns to me.
