Ron Paul Can't Win

I'd agree with that, except him being pro-Israel is concerning. But he has definitely made a point that he is strictly free trade, which I infer as most likely anti-war.

edit: Actually looks like Huntsman is leaning towards military action against Iran being probable in the future.

I appreciated his anti-COIN comment last night.

Yep, "wack jobs" that want our government to follow the constitution. Such a crazy idea really.

What would you like, more of the same?

Outside of his views on Iran and other foreign policy issues and appearing on Alex Jones' radio show, his next biggest problem are his supporters.

Seems like Americans are okay with the status quo, then they throw a fit about it. I'm the biggest Ron Paul supporter out there but I do admit there are some crazy people supporting him as well. To be fair - anyone buying in to Gingrich, Romney, or Santorum must be crazy too

Exactly.

I have a hard time (outside of obamacare) of seeing any difference between Bush and Obama.

But even with regard to government provided health care, Bush increased medicare benefits, which is probably just as bad. The elderly are the richest age-related demographic and he approved the transfer of funds from the general public to the richest demographic. It's socialism without the bleeding heart.

True, Bush also had No child left behind which has proven to be a disaster. Its the same crap year after year after year. Until we as a people get sick of it and hold our government's feet to the fire to get out of our lives it will never change. Good luck with that, as most Americans view the government as a crutch to lean on. In a nutshell, we are screwed.

...as they see it.

Yeah.....but I think it's pretty clear most federal office holders view the constitution as a list of things they can't do rather than a list of things they can do. That's the main problem. I think libertarians would be happy with our constitutional observance if we just changed that mentality.

Those actually aren't derogatory comics, just comics.

This isn't Ron Paul related, but I figured since he might be the only anti-war candidate out there, this is a good place for it. First time I've seen it, don't agree with all of it, but I think it's still relevant.

RP is against unnecessary wars. As we all should be. Isn't it interesting that he is one of the few guys to serve? (mebbe the only one in this group)
