Russia bounty on US troops

I wouldn't brief the old Hag in the House, or any of the other Bolsheviks there, on anything. They are merely trying for Russia 10.0 even though they know it's yet another Hoax.

lol they the White House just confirmed the existence of the intelligence and have gone from “he wasn’t briefed” to “there’s no consensus in the US intelligence community on its validity So we didn’t brief him.”

First, this does not agree with reporting that the NSC met in March and came up with a menu of options for response, none of which Trump chose.

Second, even if there was not 100% agreement on it, it is highly unlikely that Trump would not have been told anything about it. I mean, if there is a whiff of legitimacy to the notion that another country, Russia or some tiny country, is paying to have our soldiers killed, how does that not get taken to the top? Sorry, not buying it.

And the Gang of 8? Would they not have been briefed on the same information? It was my understanding they receive the same intelligence reports as the POTUS.

The Gang of 8 wasn’t even briefed when the strike in Soleimani happened so it’s up in the air.

So the GRU's Unit 29155 who offered bounties to the Taliban for killing U.S. and UK Forces also responsible for an attempted coup in Montenegro in 2016, an attempted assassination using a nerve agent, in Bulgaria in 2015 and the Skripal assassination attempt in the UK in 2018.

  • The unit was set up ten years ago, when the first undercover identities of these operatives were forged. We have previously reported on this unit’s clandestine operations in the last five years, including the poisoning of an arms manufacturer in Bulgaria (2015), a failed coup in Montenegro (2016), operations linked to the anti-doping agency in Switzerland (2016-2018), and the Novichok poisoning in Salisbury (2018). At the same time, we have tracked this unit’s undercover trips to at least eighteen countries, starting with Tajikistan in 2011, and spanning all of central Europe, Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, China, Turkey, and the Middle East. Many of these operations are subjects of our ongoing investigations.

This is like a spy thriller, except they actually have an asset as the head of a country. If someone wrote a story like this, it would come off as bad knockoff of James Bond.

Reread what you wrote... He wasn't briefed because there is no consensus on the intelligence being authentic. No one ever said the "intelligence" didn't exist. You don't go and brief someone on half cocked intel. Remember the intel that started the Iraq War? Yeah...This isn't CNN or the NY Post.

Something tells me how the government and military handle intelligence isn't the only intelligence you're confused about.

That’s a lot of info.
For supposedly being an elite clandestine unit they seem to be neither elite nor very successful at being clandestine.

They seem to leave a lot of tracks where ever they go. The British Intelligence were able to literally trace their chemical tracks to the airport gate which is wild.
