No, that is completely accurate.Pretty sure I saw you say something about Biden not being a great choice but not as bad as Trump and someone called you out on that being a ridiculous reason to vote for Biden. If I’m wrong then I apologize but I don’t think I am.
Sure Biden has some diminished mental capacity but I wouldn’t call him bat brain yet.I claimed that Biden was bad but no worse than X?
I don't expect everyone's continuum to look like mine; that's why I've always talked about critical mass.
It's like are you choosing between sausage or pepperoni pizza or are you choosing between sausage and bat brain pizza.
It's all opinion, but there are reasonable expectations.
Page 4 of this thread. Your post at 12:04 pm.When did I ever call voting for the least bad choice insane?
That's what I advocate when faced with a choice of two.
I still don't see the contradiction.Page 4 of this thread. Your post at 12:04 pm.
Edit: your quote was:
“The stance that Trump is awful, BUT he is no worse than............(fill in the blank) is what is insane to me.
Talk about lowering the bar.”.
I gave you a like because you didn't use the word "c - n t - n - - m" on this page.I still don't see the contradiction.
I find it insane for someone to believe that Trump is awful but no worse than .................
If you insanely believe that, then Trump should get your vote.
If Trump gets your vote because you believe he is no worse than the other choice....I think that vote is based on an insane belief.
If Trump gets your vote even though you think he is worse......I think that is insane also.
It's like the sausage or bat brain pizza choice I gave earlier in some thread.
I can't believe that the White House is saying that neither President Trump or Vice President Pence were ever briefed on intelligence which is now (reportedly) 3 months old. That strains credulity. Why wouldn't either the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Mark Milley, or the Secretary of Defense, Mark Esper, have briefed President Trump on something like this, in the 3 months since it was (allegedly) uncovered? That doesn't make any sense. Yes, there will be leaks. You don't make the Pentagon look this foolish without some push back. The leaks out of DoD and the NCS are about to start. The bounties also explain the sudden attempt on Gen. Austin Miller’s life in October of 2018.
I know Biden is bad but Trump isn’t sausage. He’s more like the well done steak with ketchup vs bat brain in your scenario.I still don't see the contradiction.

Ah, so it’s back to your belief that Trump is the worst human being ever. You’re not saying that it’s insane to vote for person x because they’re less worse than person y. You’re saying it’s insane to vote for Trump no matter the reason.I still don't see the contradiction.

He never left that belief. Everything he types revolves around this. Anything else he says is just frosting on the "Trump is a despicable human being" cake.Ah, so it’s back to your belief that Trump is the worst human being ever. I think this is concerning and needs to be addressed, but I'm not sure how. Do we want to start WWIII? And I also think comparing this to Benghazi makes for a poor comparison. The situations aren't comparable. One was an inadequately protected embassy that had requested more security, this is about soldiers in a war zone. The only way they compare is both are bad. Honestly, I would be more for simply withdrawing troops from Afghanistan than anything else. We could levy sanctions, but what good does that do when our so called allies will continue to do business with Russia? I'm open to suggestions on how you think we should respond. What would be effective? If you thought Benghazi was a big scandal and this is a nothing burger, you should stop pretending you’re patriotic.
Also, anybody who claims Trump wasn’t briefed on this is a liar or an idiot.
To be clear, I'm certainly not advocating we start a war with Russia. Since this also concerns our most important ally, I think we should discuss this with them and come out with a joint response.I think this is concerning and needs to be addressed, but I'm not sure how. I can agree with that, but other than "cut that out!", I'm not sure we can come up with an adequate response. And, as has been stated, we are probably guilty of the same thing. So we are in an untenable situation here.To be clear, I'm certainly not advocating we start a war with Russia.
