Nico beats out Tayven for starting job not even arguable

Probably. But folks thought Quinn Ewers would beat out CJ Stroud at Ohio State. Or one of Georgia's 5* recruits would beat out Stetson Bennett. Or Harrison Bailey would beat out everyone at UT. Recruiting hype doesn't mean anything once they're on campus.

Why? He wasn’t supposed to beat out Milton this year anyway. What does it matter if he sits behind Milton or Hartman. I like TJ ALOT but I would take Nico and Hartman over Milton and TJ 7 days a week.
It would be another endorsement of their trust in TJ. And he could assume this could happen every year, not to mention the $8M man coming in. He might transfer regardless, if not soon then after Spring. I will be pleasantly surprised and impressed if he doesn’t

Thaf would matter if Hartman was more than a one year player. If Heupel makes a decision about one of the 10-12 QBs in CFB based off whether a guy who has thrown 3 college passes might transfer then he can hit the road back to Orlando. The name of f
the game is get better by any means necessary. Coaching/recruiting/portal. Do you think Napier is worried that one of Richardsons backups may transfer if Hartman comes?

I have faith he will do what’s best but it’s not simple. As AP has said, “its a delicate situation”

AP thinks we’re likely to add someone at some point because he thinks there’s a good chance TJ transfers by end of Spring. However, it’s likely to be someone fine with likely being a backup

he already balled out THIS year. How much better do you think he's going to do? One more year is not going to move him up three rounds,. Scouts know what they need to know. Not saying it won't happen, just don't see logic of it from his perspective,

Actually 1 more year can move him up. Look at where Hooker and Hyatt was projected prior to this season. And now both are likey going 1st or 2nd round.

Right he slung it this year for a ton of TDs and yards...why come back and do it again for a different team vs just go to the NFL and be a first round pick
I agree with you that he has done everything on his part but his draft projections are week (6th or 8th QB taken) and even 303rd player taken etc. Playing at small school probably hurt his stock. A year at a good college offense (like TN) where he gets national spotlight can change things for him. Plus I sure he wont be playing his next college for free, likely 1-1.5 million cash easily. So I can see him coming back.

Side Note: He has announced he is not returning to Wake Forest but will play in their bowl game. So decision seems to be NFL or transfer based on draft grade.

Well Hartman may not play here, but I hate to say it Milton is not the answer at QB to inconsistent not accurate and wild. So when Joe underachieves and all the Milton backers start pissing and moaning I will sit back and just say I told you so

It won't matter. they're completely blind.

Yet, they'll be the first one's to criticize Butch Jones for choosing JG over Trevor Lawrence haha.
And here they are...doing the exact same crap.
