Idk how connected or informed Devinner is, but if you listened to that interview (wasn’t easy as sound quality was terrible) he spent the whole time comparing him to Alvin Kamara and calling him a change of pace back. How AK was the same size as a freshman. Etc.

Teams shy’d away because of his grades.

He has enrolled and everything is on track.

He is a member of this team.

Will be eligible this fall.

If he doesn’t have the grade issue he gets offers from every school in the SEC and ACC.

It’s fine if you want to take a wait and see approach but this is a HUGE get for the 18 class.

As Fulmer likes to say. Football is the motor that drives the train. I don’t think he’ll have any issues getting the grades he needs.

You don't care what his coach said. But I know better. He has coached numerous D-1 Football players and notably 2 NFL WRs.
He said Bryce is better than both of them. I saw the beginning of that Dynasty Independence High school went on from 2001-2007...Some really good players came through that program

And if you look at his tape, he is always the best player on the field.

Him and Derion Kendrick were two of the best playmakers to come out of the state of South Carolina in years.

Another one of those versatile players like Taylor. Think we'll play him in the slot, with CB an option. Really good pickup.

He had to have met the NCAA baseline and UT's admissions requirements or he couldn't have enrolled.

Do u really think that every player that signed with TN under Fulmer signed for TN and not Coach Fulmer? Lots of kids sign up to play for coaches and not the school. Doesnt make them a snake in the grass.

Agreed and if I recall correctly great players are usually the best players on the field. SC is talent rich and he killed it and we last second nabbed him. Correct answer for everyone is $)&@ yeah

Kendrick had offers from a bunch of powerhouse D1 schools. Including instate Clemson, where he committed. If Thompson was so good, why no Cpemson offer? I mean the guy has zero big time offers besides maybe UT.

If he had signed with Georgia , you would be telling us that he should have been a 5 star.
