SCOTUS fails to stop TX abortion law.

Do you have issues with people eating pork or shellfish? What about false idols or women wearing pants? Ever mowed your lawn or done housework on a Sunday?

I don’t eat pork or shellfish, I don’t have false idols, I rather see women wear short skirts or mini shorts especially with high heels, mow my yard every Sunday in my shorts with black socks with no shirt so my beer belly gets tanned, and my younger hot girlfriend does the housework nude.
you should come over some time.

And what does those have to do with abortion?
You have no idea why I’m against abortion besides being Christian, I have my own other personal family issues.
I would ask you to respect my beliefs but you show everyday that is not who you are.

I don't know what to tell you, chief...As I've said before, my personal opinions on the matter are not relevant and I'm just stating facts.

Fact number one: Even healthy pregnancies carry a certain risk up until the moment the child is born, checked, and given a completely clean bill of health, and the same with the mother.

Fact number two: No man has, or ever will, deal physically with fact number one.

I'm not sure how many different ways I can say it isn't a man's issue.
Fact 1: doesn't justify killing another human
Fact 2: Irrelevant

Your arguments are weak, sport. There are plenty of women who are against abortion. It's not like it's men vs women in this discussion.

Can we clarify that when the word "abortion" is used in here it is referring specifically to prophylactic abortion? I want to make sure that I save my righteous indignation for the right people.

What if a woman decided they didn't want the last three digits on their left hand.

The first question is should a doctor remove those digits just because they inconvenience her? Even more importantly should tax dollars subsidize clinics that specialize this procedure?

I didn't say it was a single woman's issue, or a large group of women's issue, I said it was a WOMEN"S issue, meaning any singular woman can make the decision on her personal health care needs, based one what she alone believes.

I'm not sure what we're doing here.

I would say that is a safe assumption.

Then why are you in this thread?

Your opinion is that it's only a women's issue. Mine is that it's a societal issue as babies are being killed in 100% of abortions, therefore, it's everyone's issue. If it's only a woman's discussion then log off, you're not needed.

Actually no I don’t think you can. The two extreme cases demand compliance. Pick a side soldier.

We're not talking about something hypothetical, this isn't opinions, this is a real world law, affecting real world people now.

And regardless of what your opinion on abortion is, it's 100% something that you will never personally physically deal with.

Like the hundreds of thousands being killed during the abortion process every year. Right. There's nothing hypothetical about that.

And regardless of what your opinion on abortion is, it's 100% something that you will never personally physically deal with.
Again, irrelevant.

You offer nothing to the conversation of the thread. So I think we've hit a wall and there won't be any mutual agreements.

And you've added what?...The opinion that you're personally against abortion, an issue that dos not and never will physically effect you?...Here's the real kicker, if you look a couple pages up, I state that I'm personally against it, that I don't like it, it's just not an issue that I have a right to have a real opinion on...It's not a humanity issue, it's a uniquely women's issue.

It is and it isn't a uniquely women's issue. Men can and do become emotionally invested in the idea of having a child. It is absolutely unique that only a woman can carry and bare a child, but men can and do have feelings on the subject as well.

If someone was dead set on amputating their fingers, any doctor would
1) Ask why
2) Refer out to Psychiatry

Not sure why anyone would think this situation would go in any direction other than this.
