No actually, the supplemental poverty measurement considers practical poverty; that is, that $30,000 for example, goes a hell of a lot farther in Mississippi than it does in California.

Now that you are familiar with the term, you can adjust your “top ten” accordingly. I’m traveling and on my phone or I could post the Wikipedia link, which I have done and addressed in the past on VN.

Because there's a pandemic that the president botched into an unfixable state? Rent prices being driven up by real estate speculation? Wildfires? People who listen to Joey Diaz? Sure as **** ain't got nothin to do with invading Mexicans.

The governors are to blame for the reaction to this "pandemic". Dem leaders were still calling for large gatherings when this hit the US and calling Trump a racist for travel ban

I blame Trump for not having the guts to stand up and call this thing like it us. He just went along scared of the backlash which isn't leadership

Lmao good luck with all that. Most of the country knows how to maintain basic water and power for its citizens without having homeless feces patrols, syringes in the streets, and banning plastic straws and such.

We opened too soon nationwide which is why we have so many cases. That's on Trump. We could have had a nationwide response and got this under control like Europe, but he was absent. Same with him not wearking a mask in public and turning it into a culture war. He does it all to fire up his base. None of this came as a surprise, as he is too stupid to actually understand the virus in the first place, nor does he care about anyone dying from it. Which is why he says crap like "we have too much testing." All he cares about are his poll numbers, his ratings, getting attention from his rallies, and what they're saying about him on Fox News.

It's pathetic and the entire world is lauging at us.
