I've had the displeasure of having coaxial which became Warner then directv then uverse then Comcast due to us moving.

I can say directv was the best the uverse. like both.

Comcast is total.garbage though.

no boomerang channel or chiller or cloo or dozens others that directv offered for less.

we are actually going back to direct TV next week.

I'm giving DirecTV till August 1st and if they haven't decided I will be moving to DISH!

I think Dish is better than Direct or any cable company. They have better equipment and HD than Direct and cost less. In addition, the CEO is a Tennessee graduate and is from Oar Ridge Tennessee. The only problem I have ever had with them is their inability to provide CSS which means I do not get the Tennessee games with are broadcast on the cable networks. When the SEC channel is operational, that problem should have been solved.

I had uverse for about 2 years when I moved back to knoxville, the service would go out a lot and they were horrible at customer service. Also, their rates go up after a few months, and unlike charter, there's no talking them down.

Sorry I disagree Uverse is a excellent service. Service is up all the time. Like all services the rates do change once a year.

That's why I like direct I get every game and almost all the channels are in HD.

I guess us over the air people are just out of luck ...lol:cray:

Naa.
Here's what you have to do to get it.
1. Hold antenna with left hand.
2. Hold right hand at a 45 degree angle while holding left foot 2 feet from the floor.
3. Roll up two pieces of aluminum foil approximately 13 inches in length.
4. Have friend hold foil in each hand and dance around you waving them in a wand like manner.
4. Enjoy the SEC Network!

I got this from their official site.

Put up a antenna, the new kind that's out now. Free tv carries the SECN. Costs from 60 to 160.00 bucks for the antenna but it's a one time investment. I still have internet tv but all I have to do is push a button on the remote and it switches over to the antenna. Crazy thing is I get about 50 channels with just the antenna and SECN is one of them.

Direct does not carry CSS either. Comcast will not allow either Dish or Direst to carry CSS. A couple of years ago, there was an area in Florida which was allowed Dish to carry CSS, but that didn't last very long. When the SEC Network coming in August, CSS will not be needed.

I had cable problems today so I had to call comcast and while I was sitting on the phone I asked the guy if they were going to get the sec network and he replied that there was no doubt in his mind that they are going to pick it up and that it would be in the preferred package because of its affiliation with espn just thought I would send the word

I doubt anybody on here is from the area but if you live in north Georgia or southeast Tennessee and have ETC, my dad just told me they will carry the SEC Network! They are a small cable provider so I believe the bigger guys are just bluffing and everyone will have it
