SEC Network got another provider

Same here Doyle and I am already trying to decide where to put a Dish on my house.

Mediacom is still undecided here in North Bubba....I feel assured that Bama fans here will "tend to the trees" if SEC Network becomes unavailable.

Wlill SEC network games stream online anywhere?

I mean legit streaming not pirate streaming?

Edit:
Just read the FAQs and it sounds like they will be making a dedicated app that works like WatchESPN.

Here's hoping Charter gets onboard.

DirecTV reps have repeatedly told me that they fully expect a deal to be announced but are noncommittal on when. Direct will argue over 1¢ per subscriber, that is the exact amount that is holding up a deal with Weather Channel. There is one thing that I do know, if Direct does not carry SEC network their little round dish is going into my little round container that goes to the street one per week!!

I heard a discussion on 104.5 The Zone. The whoever-it-was who was supposed to know said the network was asking the cable companies for an exorbitant price. Apparently, they want more than the cable companies pay for anything else. Sounds like an OPEC for sports.

Well, all you can say;
Is God bless the USA.
The neverending greed;
That makes your wallet bleed.
That makes a grown man weep and some to let out a frustrated and angry holler;
While money men sell off the country or otherwise suck you dry of every dollar.
What else can you say?
But God bless the USA.

Is Len any kin to Lee?

Does any one know if the SEC network will be part of the normal package or will the cable and satellite companies be charging extra for it?

The SEC is the hottest conference in college football. They put the best product on the field; therefore, they will be asking a top price to air their network.

Dish has really put the heat on Directv, and Comcast by picking up the SEC Network and adding it to its Top 120 package. If Comcast doesn't match them, I will be switching to Dish in August.

I hope DirecTV gets it. Dish sucks (IMO) too bad to switch and there's no way I'm turning to Charter, even if they get it.

I think Dish got it in a larger deal with Disney (which includes ESPN vis-à-vis SEC Network). In exchange Dish agreed to disable their AutoHopp (AKA The Hopper) comercial skipping tech for three weeks after a program airs from those networks.

There was also some internet streaming deal involved that sounded promising for the future of streaming Live broadcasts.
