There were quite a few dead in Camp Creek from what I heard, unless I'm wrong.:eek:hmy:

Last I heard, 6 dead in Camp Creek community. Some good news though, the original report of 7 dead in Glade Springs, VA was erroneous. They scaled it back to 3 or 4. Still lots of destruction there. They categorized the tornado at EF3.

Sorry about your house. I know everyone says it can be replaced and things could be worse, and they are right. But losing your house is no fun either. I hope you can get everything replaced.

Shocking indeed! Since all houses appear to have no basement, it is hard to see how anyone could have survived that was home.

It's amazing only four people died on this stretch. Living in Michigan i had to defend today why so many people died in these storms, My gf's uncle assumed it was just stupid people that didn't heed to warnings. I had to inform him that most houses down south aren't equipped with basements and they did what they could to survive.

There will be way more than that. They are just waiting to identify the bodies.

Per Police Officer next door.

Your gf's uncle is an ass.

do they have little graphs like the first picture for all of the tornados?

Another "file this under dumb ass" story. The local radio is doing a great job of being a hub for disaster relief, condition reports and venting. They are taking all kinds of calls and it's kind of a giant therapy session.

Last night some moron called to complain/plead for his power to be turned back on because he keeps reptiles and they need heat lamps. He has no damage to this house and can't understand why the power company hasn't fixed his problem.

He actually said "if you don't have a house you don't need power"

what a whiny female dog.

I need this man! Where is he?

I haven't had a face to face conversation with my husband since the night of the storm. He hasn't been in bed more than four hours a night because they are working so many hours trying to get power up here restored. I feel incredible guilt over wanting him here with me, knowing the people who've been without power since the storm are worse off than I am.

If I could take out my frustration on something, I believe I could feel better. I'd like to beat the ever lovin' sh!+ out of this man. Won't say where I'd put his reptiles. Can you send him to me please?

Cherokee Road is where a family friend lives. She lost everything. Said 5 people died within a half mile and they had dogs out searching for more bodies.
