Severe Weather Thread

Those storms dont have the typical tornado signature. The thunderstorm may be rotating, but right now there is no hook echo

Another "file this under dumb ass" story. The local radio is doing a great job of being a hub for disaster relief, condition reports and venting. They are taking all kinds of calls and it's kind of a giant therapy session.

Last night some moron called to complain/plead for his power to be turned back on because he keeps reptiles and they need heat lamps. He has no damage to this house and can't understand why the power company hasn't fixed his problem.

He actually said "if you don't have a house you don't need power"

what a whiny female dog.

Maybe his repitiles will mistake him for a food source. Just a bite or 12 to teach him a lesson. Nothing fatal.

I'm worried about flooding more so than tornadoes at this point.

Just saw Ron Childers do the futurecast over the next 2 days.....flooding is a major concern.

Hwy 196 is already shutdown just north of 64/Oakland due to the Loosahatchie.

Ron also said the Wolf and Loosahatchie Rivers might start flowing backwards due to the MS River.
