Severe Weather Thread

This time next month, we'll be complaining about the heat and afternoon thunderstorms that wreck our fishing and picnic plans. We just gotta make it through the next little bit and this'll be behind us.

"This'll" is a word. I don't care that spell check is telling me it's not.

Feast of Famine lately
 
Looks like its weakening a little. Should move just south of Jackson, somewhere around Pinson and Henderson. The NWS will probably not extend the Tornado Warning.
 
She probably likes the fact that he is testicularly gifted. I kid, volly, but he does have large stones to do what he does.

I heard from some weather service on the radio this am. that the news stations got it wrong and peak for Memphis is going to be 51 - 52 feet..It just keeps going up...ughh.

48 feet is bad enough. If it gets into the 50s.......shiiiii.
 
River Rising - Memphis Daily News

By Monday evening, the National Weather Service had changed its forecast to keep the May 10 crest date for the Mississippi River at Memphis. But they upped the river level from 45 feet to 48 feet.

I think the Pyramid is screwed, even with the work to protect it in the last week or so. I only say that from some of the pictures I have seen.
