My first question still stands. Why is everyone all over Frank?? There's better out there, IMO.
All hires are risk, despite what some of the experts say. The key is recruiting. I believe that Smart can be a better recruiter than any of the people that have been mentioned for this job. You're getting a little ahead of yourself, VCU might actually pull off a win today against Kansas if they continue to play like they have in the first half. I still believe we need to give Shaka a call regardless of how this shakes out. He is beginning to prove himself at VCU. He is young, energetic, and would most likely keep our recruiting class intact. Along with keeping Harris and Hopson here at Tennessee. He is a risk, no doubt, but could certainly be worth the reward in the end.
I don't know how to feel... These are mainly Anthony grants players and Shaka smarts coaching... Dont know where his success comes from, Anthony's players or his coaching.

He's a flavor of the moment guy... He could be great, but only two of the tourney wins so far were over single seed teams, one was over G'Town who was likely very overrated as the rest of the Big East was, the other was over Purdue who may have been overseeded, but was a terrible matchup against VCU.
If VCU plays a solid game against KU, then I will start buying him.
