Everybody is looking at the flavor of the month. That's why we call them the flavor of the month. What's hard about that?
You're talking about 3 games. You don't hire someone based on three games that they shouldn't have even been given the opportunity to have played in the first place.

They are respected baskeball schools who have him as a serious candidate. If these schools actually think he is just a flavor of the month you don't look at him as a serious candidate. What is so hard about that?
North Carolina State has hired Les Robinson and Sidney Lowe in recent history. Mizzou hired Quin Snyder. Georgia Tech gave Paul Hewitt a trillion dollars to lose in the ACC. If that's the folks who like Smart, I'm glad we're moving in the other direction. They are respected baskeball schools who have him as a serious candidate. Look at his regular season coaching experience. It's at best, underwhelming. It's not erased by 3 games to me, but maybe it is to you.
Yes according to Bilas and Dickie V. They would have only ACC teams in the tourney.
Only 3 games huh? That rules out all asst. coaches as candidates then. You are throwing out his 2yrs of regular season coaching experience. How many games does he have to coach?
I agree he is a sexy name now but I'm just saying also a candidate with big potential upside that needs to be looked at seriously as well.
Some on here will not commit to wanting a candidate until their 'dad' rules on the subject.
Then they will all fall in line.:good!:
