Skylar played lamb pretty well in that game when he guarded him. I'm not deflecting anything. And I havent lauded his defensive ability or said he was any kind of stopper either. He's not the best, and certainly not the worse.

Ok, if you say so. You certainly seem to be going out of your way in several instances to point out times you believe he played well, ok, decent, etc. and you singled out his effort vs Lamb. I don't know what else to call it.

I only point those things out if others point out the obvious negatives. I would prefer that he not have to play. Evidently, CM doesn't think he brings nothing to the floor, as your compadres are arguing.

I'll give the McBee lovers freethrows because
he hit some clutch ones last night and a couple of games ago but does freethrow % really matter when you look at when he takes them during the game?? At the end of games, when it counts and we need good freethrow shooting guards, i got no issue with the kid in the game. But during the game, he's not getting to the line because he only shoots three's. And we see what happens when he does go to the rim....it's ugly.

Its not just the offense, the defense is an even bigger issue. Yeah. He plays hard and yadda yadda yadda but he just isnt athletic or quick enough to handle talented guards. His situation is a feel good story but he gives ud nothing.

How dare you he is a defensive stopper. It was purely bad luck as to why ware went off on him and no other defender.

Actually SM has been playing really good defense lately...and he wants the ball at the end of the game...I dare say we dont have anyone else like that...You're right...SM is not going to turn anybodies head with his talent...and for the untrained eye he has no appeal....BUT TRUST ME CCM IS THRILLED TO HAVE SOMEONE LIKE SKYLAR ON HIS TEAM....You might want to get over it....FWIW

Can we all agree that McBee is a below average player on an average team? It is not like he is getting minutes on a top 10 team.

I would enjoy watching UT play 1 game with all 3 point shots...could hang in there easily if they could hit in the 25% range.
