50 plus years out of place with the shoulder tops, that design concept just doesn’t correlate anymore. Still don’t like it, but it’s way better looking than I expected. Probably because grey and orange go so good together and the abrupt line shapes are giving it all the help they can.

Good grief, do you guys not realize why the uniforms are this way? We only have so many games to do the Smokey Greys and we want to honor Condredge, so we combined the two uniforms. If it’s less popular, who cares, the game is on ESPN+.

I like the orange shoulder accent, but I am not sure it will look good on tv.
We'll see.
We could wear puke green and look good against APSU!
😎
I’m not crazy about them but I bet there’s a bunch of overgrown kids that will be taking the field Saturday, that are probably hyped about them.

I like that they are getting these atrocities out of the way against an irrelevant team. Imagine if we wore something like this against Bama last year. It would have taken so much art out of the game to see anything other than orange, crimson, and white.

Or ya know people can actually look into Tennessee’s past and learn what Condredge did and what he stood for. The man can never be honored enough.

I agree with you and like them but, dumb? Really?

Dumb comes into play when they challenge anything specifically designed to honor Condredge. The yoke and the double stripes come directly from the 71' unis in the collage picture. Bet they had to modify the yoke a little to make them legal. Love to hear the feedback from the players and the recruits on these uniforms. Then I will make an analysis. Swapping all the grey back to white would be good for me too.

“that orange pops”, …….. have you ever seen our regular unis?
I might’ve caught a glance once. I know our “traditional” orange unis are damn sharp, but I really like this design. And yes, I think the Smokey gray makes the orange detail stand out even more.

There was a day, back in the day, when no one threw the ball. There was a day when it was an all caucasian game in the SEC. Change happens, and mostly for the better. Embrace it! Love it!

Way to bring race into a thread about ... uniforms? Does it never stop for you guys?

Uh, are you at all aware of Condredge Holloway's legacy in the SEC and at UT?

I was on campus in '71 and he faced a lot of crap, not for how he played, for simply being of a different race. It's an issue that's entwined in his career at UT.

They are doing that style to honor Condredge Holloway, according Huep

I love them

People on both sides get tore up over uniforms for some reason. If the kids want pink and green let them have pink and green, as long as they're happy and winning I couldn't care less. Doesn't mean I have to like pink and green.
But you have to make sure we all know you don't like them? Gotcha.
