Sure. I got you and agree that its not a slam dunk hart fires him under similar outcome this year.

IMO there won't be a similar outcome. This team is either about to make a serious run now or not at all.

There will be too much buzz of negativety around the team to go on another late season run IMO

They don't have to go on a "serious" run, to have a similar season. Win the games they're favored in and you're talking about probably 19-11, that's very similar to the first two years.

I don't see this team completely collapsing and finishing 11-19.

Why does everything have to be concrete with you.

Do I think Tennessee has a new basketball coach next year? No.

Because my answers no am I not allowed to participate in the possible candidates discussion?

If something happens where we are looking for a new coach, I gave my 2 cents on who id like to see us pursue.

Not sure why that troubles you so much.

It's comical that some here draw their line in the sand and say CCM should be gone if he doesn't make the tourney but when the "if" dominos start to fall they ridicule posters for discussing just that.

Lol that now their slant is we shouldn't discuss it because the powers at be aren't going to do anything.

The instant half season loses his 7th game before February 1st his ass should be fired.

Every season ticket holder should send set written notice that their season tickets won't be renewed unless half season is fired.


Donors should rally their support for CBP and force an immediate stance by the administration

If CBP isn't an option a search committee should go immediately to work finding a replacement. Zero reason to wait

So if he loses #7 on Jan. 29, and that would mean the team is 13-7, then he gets fired? No AD in the country would fire a coach at 13-7 with a month of basketball left. None.

13-7 will leave us an Rpi close to 3 digits. I have seen that song and dance. That will be enough for me to start selling that stance

That's why I was dying laughing. We play at Florida, at Kentucky and at LSU all before February 1st. I would actually be ok with 13-7 entering February, not ideal but hardly deserves being fired lol.

Martin could go to the Final Four and lose on a buzzer beater and the ones that have always hated Martin will still complain and say its all the players and we got lucky.

No need to get off topic, I'm asking if you have something that supports your statement that at 13-7 our RPI would be in the triple digits.

The first reason that's such a foolish statement is that it would depend who we beat and lost to. If we lose @uk, @uf and @lsu but won the other 7....our RPI is probably top 40 Bruin.

I'll give you $100 if you can tell me where I said I would be happy. Why must you embellish everything bruin, it's a bad trait.

I flat out said "it wouldn't be ideal", but given where we CURRENTLY are (6-4), 13-7 wouldn't be horrible by any means. It means we beat at least one damn good team, and didn't lose any games we should, you should probably look at our schedule.

Post our schedule Bruin. We play at least 4 really good teams, at 13-7 you're saying we're beating at least 1 of @uk, @uf, @lsu vs.uva

Do you know the RPI formula? Are you aware losing on the road to good teams doesn't really hurt your RPI, infact in some cases can actually raise your RPI?
