So proud of my home state

Because 99.9% of its performers are LGBTQ, Sam.

Drag queens are mostly gay, sure. So what? Drag is still not a sexual identity or a sexual preference. The most charitable thing one can say is that it is a hobby (though I suspect in many cases it is a sexual fetish or kink). Why are hobbies being treated as though they are in a protected class along with the people in that same protected class?

I think the issue is you are stopping at Q. That’s so 2 years ago. We as a society have progressed forward. Now it’s: LGBTQQIP2SAA

Your toxic masculinity is showing bro! Do better!

Do you realize how ridiculous and ignorant you sound when your assertion is based on "though I suspect?"

Why do dudes want to dress up as women and take their clothes off for kids? And expect the general public to think it’s normal? Do in private whatever you want. Legally of course.

Immaterial. Try grappling with the actual argument. Why is drag, a hobby, treated as a protected class? Any criticism of drag makes you a bigot? Why? How? By what measure is criticism of a hobby equal to criticism of a protected class of person?

I have never seen a drag performer strip. Let alone strip for kids.

I'm going to need you to think about the context of this thread before attempting to reference drag as a protected class.

Criticism is fine. It's your basis for such criticism that makes you ignorant. You incorrectly assume it is a fetish act. It isn't. You assume it is grooming. It isn't.

Better immaterial than outright moronic, my dude.

No. What do you normally wear? Are you a heels guy or wedge? And what ages are the kids at your shows?

You’re cute, resorting to the you’re so gay jokes. No substantive thoughts of your own, so go to the 5th grade humor well. Toodles.

Cross dressing jokes. Get it right. I’ve been told cross dressing does not equal gay. Or something like that. All of this is confusing I know.

I'm sorry. I can only dream of having such a graduated sense of humor to match that of a sundowning bigot.

It is grooming independent of any sexual arousal experienced by the performer. Intentionally exposing kids to this normalizes the behavior so that it is easier for them to accept or be influenced in the future. It distorts their thinking about their identity, family, relationships, and sexuality. It is grooming, or at least near enough that the distinctions make no difference.

Huh? Your thinking is pretty out of whack. So, if there is no intent on behalf of the performer you must believe it is the parents or guardians you are calling the groomers. Which means you believe they are grooming their kids so they can use them in the pedo rings? I cannot even make sense of where you are going with your thought process.

Sexuality is what it is. It is not simply gay or straight. There is a continuum from 0-100% straight or gay. The problem with your hardline right wingers is lack the ability think in shades of grey.

First, you seem to have stumbled into the conversation without much frame of reference. And I'm not against labeling parents groomers, but that doesn't shift blame away from the degenerates who are knowingly performing raunchy burlesque for kids. There is a lot of room under the groomer tent for both parties.

And I don't really know wtf you're talking about wrt pedo rings. Are you under the impression that grooming only applies to pedo rings? Groomers can groom anyone for any reason. Showing kids drag is grooming in the sense that they are trying to make it seem normal for scantily clad adults to dance in a sexual manner for kids. It is weird and creepy, and I'm not out of touch for thinking so.

And sexuality is a spectrum... ok? I don't see what that has to do with the hobby of drag. Criticism of drag should not be conflated with criticism of homosexuality or any other LGBTQ group.
