So who replaces Graham...

Once again, what big time bowl games has he gone too and what big time teams has he beaten.

I know I'm labeled a nega, but I will have the wait and see approach. He does have a good résumé and record for someone of his history. However, there is a reason he was on Colorado and Purdue's list.

He hasn't , he paid every coach from Cincy way,way to much ...was a slap in Jays face to be the lowest coach on staff!

I know we are down and not relevant, but what we offer before kids step on the field is second to none.

He beat the teams his AD scheduled.

Football coaches always has input on their schedule. Also, what big time team has he beaten? Not knocking the guy at all. I am one who is tired of investing time and money into a product I can't get excited about. Couple that with the economy and being tight with money, I don't feel confident in him. Does that mean I could be wrong and have to eat crow? Yes. And I hope to God that does happen.

Input does not mean control.

He was at UC for 3 years. Youre schedule is already set that far in advance, he couldnt change that. He beat the teams in his conference and won conference titles. I have no idea if he will win here, but he's been successful wherever he goes.

I'm not saying anything about his previous accolades at other schools. I understand that he hasn't coached a game. However there are things that've happened so far that we should evaluate him upon. Retention of staff, hiring of staff, firing of staff, recruiting, etc.... Out of those things I've mention there aren't a lot of positives.

He brought in HIS guys, guys that know his system and how he coaches. Same guys that won with him the past. Proves that he is confident in their system and ability to coach it.

I'll take it.

The fact you even mention recruiting is a joke. What did he have, 2 1/2 weeks? He did a hell of a job.

Troop is available. Wouldn't skip a beat in recruiting and would likely be an upgrade. Brings more energy and relationships with upcoming recruits. Not the cleanest of clean though.

This^^
Go get Trooper as long as there are no NCAA issues. He makes things seamless

All of You guys that Complained about Chaney Your in for a very Long season and Sal was horible but I'll say This.. we didn't upgrade the Defense Much with this dumb arse Cincy staff !

If he hires manning its a bad move.

He has only coached for 3 years... no real experience IMO.

Roy Manning began his coaching career as a defensive assistant at the University of Cincinnati in 2010, where he helped lead the football team to a record of 4-8. Following the 2010 season Roy Manning took an offensive graduate assistant position under Brady Hoke at the University of Michigan, where he helped lead the Wolverines to an overall record of 11-2 including a win in the 2012 Sugar Bowl. In February 2012, Manning returned to Cincinnati as the school's running backs coach. In his only season at Cincinnati, the Bearcats led the Big East in rushing offense.[1] In January of 2013 Manning was named running backs coach at Northern Illinois University.

I say bring Trooper back. I loved him when he was here. Great motivator and a players' coach! People, we need to swallow our orange pride and do what we gotta do to start recruiting well and winning again!! That integrity crap has gotten us nowhere! Desperate times call for desperate measures...

Finally someone gets it!
