Checking in. Won’t be close Saturday. Probably worst OU defeat since Baylor about 8 years ago at home. You guys scored 65 points first half. We couldn’t score 65 points in an entire game vs Farragut High School . We are minus #2-7 receivers. #2 May be back. Our OL healthy is the worst since 2005. They aren’t healthy. One very depressing thing is that Tulane looked fresher the second half. We have according to 95% of Sooner faithful the best S&C coach in the country. He’s great at conditioning but some years they lose their legs too early. He works them to death. But there’s this.

Struggled with Tulane the whole game and we have a Sooner homer in here beating his chest 2 weeks before we show up, take them behind the Waffle House, and curb stomp their annually overrated donkeys??? OU was great back in the Bud Wilkinson days but that was about it.

A couple things I’m looking forward to seeing:

Nico vs Oklahoma secondary. With his ability/willingness to fit the ball into tight windows, Oklahoma secondary is going to have chances at turnovers. Will be key for Tennessee to establish the run game early and take pressure off Nico.

Tennessee Dline vs Oklahoma OLine. If Tennessee is able to control the line of scrimmage like we expect them to, it could be a tough day for Jackson Arnold. We still don’t know for sure what the back half of Tennessee’s defense can do.

I think the key is our OL vs their front 7, we have to be able to run the ball. Our D will do their thing but we need to stretch out a lead in a road game like this. Can't let them hang around in this game.

We’re gonna see what our OL was meant to look like next weekend. The starters haven’t had too many meaningful snaps in game together and we had a couple out yesterday for precautionary reasons but they’ll all be back for this one. If we go down in Norman, it’ll be hats off to Oklahoma considering our full arsenal will be on display.
