Against BCS opponents, yes. That's exactly what the stats show.
I don't think they had the top teams. But, when averaged as a conference, they were a tougher conference than you are giving them credit for. Probably because they scheduled more OOC BCS opponents compared to the flurry of I-AA teams the SEC is known to count as wins.
I can't brag about a season in which we went 12-1 and obviously deserved a shot at the NC but instead Nebraska(who got the behinds handed to them by Colorado, who Oregon killed in fiesta) got killed in NC?Then why in the WORLD would you tout the fact that Oregon has been to a BCS game? It's true. Ducks do have little bitty brains.

If you have done that lately, I'd love to hear

The evidence is there that the Pac-10 is better.Guys... Debating how good the Pac-10 is is one thing. I live in Portland. I love watching Pac-10 ball.
But the SEC is, has been and will continue to be head and shoulders better than every other conference in college football. And that much is fairly close to non-debatable.
I remember LSU vs Wazzu...
Worst team in pac-10 vs best team in SEC.
I remember OSU playing @ LSU and losing by 1 in 2ot
It takes an average game from UCLA(1 of worst teams in pac-10) to beat you.I love it when a Pac-10 game plays the game of their lives and an SEC team essentially takes a dump on the field and still manages to win.
I'll also point out that only 2 of your non-USC victories came against teams that didn't have awful records. One of those was a 3 point victory against a crappy 7-5 Bama team.
Yeah, we sucked last year. The SEC was an incredibly strong conference. The Pac-10, not so much. You guys had much better recruits on your team last year and we still went 10-3 while you guys went 5-7.
weird

If Tennessee is mediocre, yet has a better record in a harder conference than the Duckies... what does that say about Oregon?
Wwow, I didn't even know that.Last 10 years:
Win/Loss record:
Oregon 86-38
UT 85-41
Strength of Schedule: I already demonstrated earlier in this thread that they have been comparable over the last 10 years.
Your argument: no factual basis.

2) I don't think of that at all because the Pac-10 doesn't hang all of their hats on the laurels of one team. That is simply a fall-back argument that some fans have resorted to when efforts to win some other argument doesn't go their way.
