clemson sux....and syvelle play safety last week at UF....if you missed it UF won by 1pt....FYI the entire offense is back next year except for 2 lineman....of which one is a walk on.

I did not hear the story but they made reference of Spurrier goin to Miami. Thats a great fit I think, his energy at Miami would be just what they need. Dont know if it will happen or not.

Tony Barnhardt last night said that he had asked Spurrier directly just that day(sunday) about Miami, and that Spurrier emphatically stated he had zero interest in the Miami job.

That is about as direct as it gets. Not an absolute. Close though...

The Ft. Lauderdale paper actually mentioned Jeff Fisher as a candidate this morning. I find that a little hard to believe.

How much money would it take to get Fisher over there if even that was possible, which I agree it is a little hard to believe.

Why would Spurrier not want to take it?

A better recruiting base, easier conference and schedule, same opportunity or better to play a BCS game, and he gets to move back to Florida that he supposedly loves.

Its win, win, win for him.

Good call! I'm a Valdosta State Graduate- Hatcher has done wonders for our football program. We basically dominate anyone who plays us. His "Air Attack" style offense would fit nicely into any FL team...

Not yet. I'd be surprised if Coker doesn't step away from coaching. The person who should be nervous about Butch Davis putting together a staff is The Great O. He made a big production of bringing in the ex-Cane coaches that Coker fired after last season. I'd say those guys would be amneable to following Davis to Chapel Hill.

Speaking of "O", props to Ole Miss for making LSU think a little about sleepwalking through a conference game... But of course JaMarcus did wake up, and they were Ole Miss....
