Star Wars: Episode VII (December 18, 2015) ***SPOILERS***

I seriously doubt it. Also some other bad news for Fin, with that kiss from Rey on the forehead at the end, he has officially been moved into the "friend zone." Any hopes he may have had at romance with Rey was killed in that one scene!

Nah, chances are they will hook up. Star Wars always has a romance in each trilogy.

Yeah, but the "romance" in Ep I-III just sucked. Zero chemistry.

Now Han and Leia? Serious chemistry in ESB.

I thought Ridley and Boyega had great chemistry on screen. It's bound to happen, and I will be jealous of Boyega, when it does.

I'd intentionally mess up, so I could have double takes with Daisy.

Poe and and Fin had good chemistry. This is the Star Wars for the PC generation after all.

Alternative suggestion: if Rey is not a Skywalker, I wouldn't be surprised to see something happen between her and Kylo. Would be an interesting twist.

I didn't get the romantic chemistry vibe though. Maybe it was too subtle. The chemistry between Han and Leia was far more overt. But if Rey is in the Skywalker lineage, you have to realize she's going to go after the bad boy in the end.

Padme', goes after bad boy Anakin.

Leia, goes after bad boy Han.

Rey...? But being a main character, it could get a little more complicated.

So hey...how come Finn and Poe didn't suffocate when they escaped the Star Destroyer? I know its a special forces Tie variant, but Tie fighters don't have life support systems, that's why the pilots wear helmets. Shouldn't they have died?

I thought this as well, slight spoilers for the EU and one line about a crazy fan theory that would be awesome if true.

The only real difference between Ben/Jacen is we got to see Jacen go from good to evil similar to Anakin (only with actually good reasons and storytelling) and we also see 100% that he is one of, if not the most powerful Force conduit ever with what he does in the Yuuzhong Vong War.

I think what we've seen of Kylo Ren so far is insane. He stops a blaster mid air for an extended period of time with no stress on his body while doing it. He takes Chewie's clearly showed off multiple times to prove its OP bowcaster to the stomach and doesn't even get knocked back, and then kicks one of the best stormtrooper's in his army's ass followed by one of the more powerful good force user's in the universe as well up until he literally tells her how to beat him.

And all of this is before we find out he never even finished training. I wouldn't be shocked one bit if he comes back as strong as Anakin would've been if he hadn't lost 80% of his body. Especially if the crazy fan theories are truly and Snoke is actually Plagueis, which I think would be pretty awesome in it's own right.

Not to mention he showed an ability to torture/draw information from a person's mind with the force, something Vader had to use a droid to do in A New Hope. It was likely just J.J. showing some new stuff but it kind made him seem OP lol

How do you even know TIEs don't have life support?

I've read rumors that Poe is gay. That would be a PC twist.

Here's an interview where Oscar Isaac said he played it as a romance, so who knows. It could end up being Poe and Fin or Rey and Fin either way this board will be a fun place to hangout and watch the comments.

These movies are meant to be fun, not make a political statement. Jesus, can't we have some escapism from politics at some point.

Well considering the tie fighters can shoot backwards I'd say a few things have changed. Also they weren't in it for very long and probably would've had enough air to last a little while.

Just some fan theory nonsense because Isaac mentioned a romance in the interview.

Finn is obviously not gay, he definitely has a crush on Rey.

He was obviously making a joke about "playing a romance".

He even did a hand gesture towards John and Daisy (Rey and Finn) when he said there's a subtle romance in the movie, which there certainly is.

I'm not certain of it or anything. It's just he never sat in a tie fighter but picked up the weapons system in no time. He'd never sat in the Millennium Falcon and he picked up that weapons system in no time. He'd never held a light saber yet was able to fight Kylo Ren for a while. Thought maybe he was able to tap into the force subtly without realizing it.

I just saw this movie over the weekend and I honestly do not understand the hype on it. Outside of visuals there was nothing special about this movie. Seriously, what was so great about it?

Also, and I am sure it has been discussed in here, but why in the hell would a dude that works in sanitation know everything about the classified weapon on the Death Star 2.0?

Would it really of been that difficult to come up with another story, one that didn't feel like a refresh of a previous movie?

Kylo Ren also was trained since a child, yet he couldn't beat a janitor and scavenger (who have never even used a light saber in battle). Kylo was the worst villain ever. Wasn't he a Knight of the Round Table? Where were his friends?

When did Rey learn how to speak Wookie? and how does she know how to instantly fly the Millennium Falcon?

Annnnyyyywayysss....Maybe everybody just hyped it up to much for me and I walked into it with high expectations.
