He can only sign 15 per class for the next 3 years. Of course he won't pull in #1 classes there for a while. But how exactly is that his fault?

I've made money off bets on VN before and would be glad to do it again...

We aren't going to have the #1 class in the nation. Are you being serious? Based on what we have now and our outlook for this season, if it's not fact, it's at least a 99% certainty. Hold out hope for #1 all you want, but you're going to be disappointed. I had to check and make sure you weren't Eric for a second.

They were something like 11th the day before Signing Day...Kiffin recruits boosted them to #1 when no one thought Florida's class could be topped...

But if you wanna play that game, Kiffin built our class into what would have been a top 3 one had he not left

I do think that Dooley is trying to stabilize the attrition. There is merit to that. The way we are beefing up right now this class will be impossible to rate for a few years. Overall, bigger names with bigger offer lists will be necessary in order for Dooley to maintain his employment status with UT.

Very good point and one I thought of immediately after the sanctions. And it's more like a telescope really. The NCAA was already on Kiffin and co.'s trail when they were here and that scrutiny likely would have continued.

Anyone who thinks that this will not impact their recruiting doesn't understand recruiting.

good grief. OK we probably won't have the #1 class next season. Happy? Point it we don't necessarily need it to be successful. Yes Saban could do it but very few (if any) could duplicate that. Still doesn't hide the fact that your constant need to bash UT's staff is ridiculous
