If the guy doesn't play against a team, ie Vandy in '05, he doesn't get charged with the loss, just like Bray isn't charged with the losses Simms had against Bama, Florida, LSU, and Georgia.
Where does your hatred for Ainge stem from? Honestly. The guy beat Florida, Bama, Georgia, went to two SECCG, won a bowl game. He also played with broken fingers, unlike Bray. I'm completely confused as to why you hate him so much.
He was a choke artist who flung the ball out of bounds at the drop of a hat, and he dropped the hat. And it wasn't like his career spanned the glory years of UT football. 2004-2007 pretty we sucked. Not as bad as the present but still.
yet Bray wasn't benched because he couldn't beat out his backup. Seems that would be an important thing to mention

Yet, he has more SEC wins
Yet Simms played because Bray wasn't ready to be the starter. .
Hatred? I don't hate him. I listen to his show at least three or four times a week.
But as a QB, he sucked.
No, HE doesn't. The team he played on does.
You seem to have this recurring problem of thinking that there is only one player on the field, the QB. Maybe you should follow the NFL, tailor-made for casual fans without much knowledge of the game.
Bray beat out Simms. What are you babbling about?
Who gets the win in baseball despite it being a team game?
Ainge. More disciplined player, especially after Cutcliffe returned.
A good part of this is coaching. Cut would make Bray a better quarterback than he is now. Ainge was where Bray is now when Sanders was OC.

Aha, I see, you're confused. You thought this was baseball. You see, in football, QB's dont have their own win-loss record. There's a reason for that.
And to clarify, baseball is the one with the little white round ball, and football is the one with the funny looking ball with little shoelaces on it, that bounces in strange ways.
lol:
Stick with watching football on sundays, is my advice.
That's where casual fans can really make their mark.
