Still think Bray is better than Ainge??

If you had a choice, who would you rather have at QB this year, Bray or Ainge

Again, Ainge had a team around him that was 100 times better than this team.

Try to use some critical thinking skills.

Bray's receiving corps is exponentially better than Ainge's, and yet Bray still overthrows his receivers at least 3 times a game, has a lack of touch on shorter routes causing the ball to go through the receivers hands (not just his fault, but certainly doesn't help), and still can't read coverages and check down. As a junior...

It doesn't matter what kind of receivers you have, if the offensive line is not that experienced.

Surely you don't.

By my count, Ainge mailed it in once... at LSU 05' and that was more of just a dumb@ss play and momentary mental breakdown... and don't say LSU 07' because, again, that too was just a horrible throw.

IMO,,, i'd much rather have Ainge than Bray... but that's not possible so here we come 7-5, 5-7...

I'd rather have Bray over a stoned Ainge! And you are forgetting that Ainge QB'd teams that had some killer defenses. Given ANY defense Ainge had with our entire offensive performance this last Saturday and we win hands down! :salute:

GTFO :eek:lol: Casey Clausen was EASILY 2nd best behind Peyton...EASILY

Uh--you guys forgetting about Tee Martin? I wonder how many TD's he'd be able to throw with two receivers who have the speed of Peerless Price?

Bray isn't in Tee or Casey's league...:salute:

Ainge was good! But i agree that if we had those defenses from 06 and 07 we leave Athens with a win last saturday.

We win the sec championship in 07 with Bray. And possibly 04 too, but you can't compare them because Ainge was out for that game. Ainge was good but put Bray in that offense and its a whole different level. And 05 might not have been a bust.

I think there is a far more interesting question out there:

Would you take Bray or Tajh Boyd right now?

Bray might have better measurables for the NFL, but I'd take Tajh. Collegiate QB is, somewhat paradoxically, the one position that NFL-caliber talent does not tell the whole story. I personally like mobile QBs in college. They are always game-changers. Frankly, Tajh has a better resume right now too.

the difference b/t Bray and Ainge is Bray probably won't be warming benches in the NFL.

This is laughable. Bray is a cupcake like his coach.

Hell, Ainge beat teams losers like Bray and Dooley dream of with broken limbs and high on pills.

Bray doesn't have a resume. He's a cupcake, he folds against anyone good.

Again, Ainge's teams were much much better than Bray's.

Try to use some critical thinking skills. Put that public school education to good use.

Not according to OP. OP thinks that none of that matters. OP lives in fantasy land.

Well Bray is better than Ainge, by a long shot.

No one agrees with you and your sockpuppet.

Again, try using some critical thinking skills.

Any zone defense will make bray look like matt simms. He gets so confused and refuses to check down. Hes like jay cutler. Going to throw a 50 yard bomb or a pick if a deep pass play is called.

Egads, all the old favorite trolls are crawling out of their rocks.

Goober, we have the top ranked passing offense in the league (329.2 yard per game), and the second ranked overall offense (506.6 yard per game).

Maybe you should spend more time whining about the defense. Offense, and Tyler Bray, are our strong points, and are the only reasons we're even in any of these games.

It's the play calling that's hurting Bray right now. Plus the receivers have not been holding onto the ball. Bray cannot throw catch his own passes. i doubt even Superman can do that

Casey Clausen was a competitor. Best qb that we've had since Manning.

I'd take Casey with his offense and defense over Bray with HIS offense and defense, anyday...

Would I take Bray with Caseys offense and defense over Casey with Casey's offense and defense?

That's tough to know. I'd have to see Casey with Bray's offense and defense before deciding.

I see you've learned how to copy and paste the same crap that you've said in the other forums. Fact is Ainge never gave up in the 2nd half against any Florida team, unlike Bray, never lost to Kentucky, and also never threw 2 picks and fumbled on the final 3 possessions to try to tie the game. He took advantage of opportunity and made the best of it. Yes, the defense gave up a lot of points, but they also bailed out Bray twice in order to try to win the game, and Bray let them down.
