Stop being manly

I know one man who has sent two to McCallie, but he says the connections they make there will benefit them later. I think some go to Yale or Harvard for the same reasons. I don't know. I went to public school.

nah. Econ 101 is reeeeeally different at Harvard.

You loved seeing a wife with husband in tow, he’d buy anything just to get the hell out of there.
What gets me is that some women will agonize over choosing the absolute prettiest plant out of thousands by picking out how many blooms it has at that minute. By tomorrow, those blooms may be gone, and the plant next to it that is heavily budded may look better by then. Next week, who knows?

Pretty rude, don't you think?

To make people unnecessarily wait or to not wait unnecessarily?

If my wife were going to take longer than 5 minutes, she would tell me and we'd work it out. I've ubered home separate from her and I've been dropped off by her. We are considerate and avoid wasting each other's time and that's just one of many reasons why our marriage is so good. :hi:

I just wonder who he works with? I imagine his neighbors are equally pussified.

Actually, I was thinking his wife's foot might "slip" and hit the gas.

Don't know how the shifter moved into reverse afterwards and her foot slipped again.

Selfish, IMO!

You must have been one of the kids that dropped out before learning about anecdotal evidence. :)

You are probably right that the biggest factor in education is effort, but if you don't think teachers and schools make a significant difference, I can't begin to agree with you on that (data?).

Loudy went to private school

I dont think I have ever seen anything offensive on duck commander...what did I Miss? They never cuss, ever...end nearly every episode with a big family meal and prayer...did I miss something immoral? Honest question, because we don't watch much tv and I may have missed something. It's boring at times, and not funny...but that's most tv

I've never been offended by any show you mentioned, but I'm a snowflake.

Little different situation. I was under the impression you were saying you'd just up and leave after a period of time without saying anything.

That'll get you hurt.

Many of the sitcoms dont use offensive language, or have sexually suggestive themes...they just always, and I mean always, make the father out to be a pathetic fool. Even my favorite growing up, Al "stinkfoot" Bundy, was mocked constantly for being a shoe salesman, constantly demeaned by his wife..even for penis size etc...disrespected by bud, disobeyed by his whore daughter (love you Christina Applegate) ...and look at the other man on the show...Marcy absolutely destroyed her beta husband...I can't even remember his name because he was such a wuss...there are countless examples of sitcoms this way. Cartoons, too...Matriarch is beyond reproach, dad is a buffoon, kids talk back and do whatever they want. Once you know about the pattern, sitcoms will never be the same.

As usual, Huff is completely out in left field, with the "dad is just the funny one" idea...how did they get laughs for 50 years before feminism and beta males took over? Was I love Lucy not funny? Was Happy Days not funny? All the old shows had respectable father figures and still had comedy and big ratings. The mockery of the white male is relatively new.

I am tired of it. It's bad enough that we are vilified by the MSM, discriminated against by affirmative action, and railroaded anytime we end up in family court for a divorce or child custody...and I mean RAILROADED... we have to be roundly mocked on our own couches as we try to relax from all the other bullcrap???

Not in my house.

I am very soft spoken in my home, treat my wife with the utmost respect and love, treat my kids fair but firm, while always praising them and their accomplishments. I am not some chest beating caveman...but I dont allow this modern liberal bullcrap to come into my house. Never want my kids to think its OK...it's not. Respect for elders, manners, kindness and decency will rule the day in my home.

The media can keep their beta bullcrap

Yeah, toeing the line...

"You're taking far too long, so I'm grabbing an Uber and heading home."

Suddenly, the wife takes an active interest in your life insurance policy and starts reading up on what a hairdryer will actually do when tossed in a bathtub.

I am with you here. I have a little touch of social anxiety, can get full on fight or flight adrenaline in a very crowded store with the wife and kids...because sometimes I can't see the kids and it makes me very very uncomfortable. No problem at football games in 100,000 though...which is weird.

When i go to Wal-Mart, I know exactly what i want and where it is before I enter the store, I come in thru the auto tire entrance on the side, get what i need directly, then checkout and exit from the side as well. Works great.

2hen I go shopping with the wife, I just follow her around like a puppy and stare at her booty the whole time. Doesn't really get old either..my imagination and her booty van keep me entertained for hours. Still can't figure out how their butts get that "shake" from side to side when they walk...from the broader hips maybe? Either way, it's great. Keeps me o. My toes. Love that lady.

Are you certain you're an alpha? You sure are crying a lot over nothing.

I'm way out in left field, but I rattled off plenty of examples that refute your theory, and you again doubled down and repeated the claim that the Dad "always" plays the fool.

Michael Bluth and George Michael Bluth are the only Bluths who aren't complete morons. Both white males. There goes your theory.

The comment about men being funnier was in jest, but you're talking about outliers. Lucille Ball and Carol Burnett were exceptions to the rule. Comedy has been male dominated for a long time, though the tide has been turning.

One issue that I totally side with the majority of those who identify as right wing with is that society is becoming far too PC. Seems like everyone is offended by everything and no one can have fun anymore without worrying who they might offend. It's a ****ty environment to be in.

But then you all have to go and cry about harmless PG rated 80s sitcoms; how they put down the white male and have a radical feminist agenda.

I start to wonder if I'm seeing two sides of the same coin.

The feminists were probably mad that the Bundy daughter was portrayed as a "whore".

Perhaps you should start paying attention.

People who aren’t white, straight men view white, straight men as superior to everyone else. This is evident in TV/commercials, etc. Then they view masculinity as toxic after propping up men.

Now there’s a class on how men shouldn’t be men.

It’s humorous.

I spoke to McMom about this thread. She said she needs to think it over before she gives me permission to be manly. Looks i got my testicals out of her dresser drawer prematurely.

Yep, once you've been neutered, I wish they would just throw them away instead of making you believe one day you just might get them back and return to your rightful place as "Man of the House." The struggle is real.
