Unlike a good number of Marvel characters everyone in the world knows who Superman, Batman & Wonder Woman is!

It was okay.

Alfred was the best part of the movie, imo.

It was good. But my God I don't know why but I absolutely hate Lois Lane. I was basically rooting for her to die. It's probably just me, and I like Amy Adams so it's nothing against her, but her character is just horrible. So shallow.

Jeremy Irons did well but I could barely hear a word he was saying with the low mumble.

Affleck and Gadot did an excellent job. Eisenberg did well but I thought there were parts he tried to hard.

I have one serious complaint about the plot, but other than that it was a fun movie.

I can relate. While watching her it made me randomly miss Isla Fisher.

Wasn't a big fan of Eisenberg as Lex till the plan/motivation was revealed.

I wonder what the r-rated directors cut will look like.

Jason Todd being tortured I'd say

This movie seems to be about the threat and morality of absolute power and humanities need for a hero and someone bigger than themselves.

Critics: Yeah but...is it fun?

I did. it wasn't horribly done, but there's not really any reason or need to pay extra money to see it in that format. just go with the 2D.

Live in a small town and the theater has 3 or 4 screens and the time we can go they are only showing it in 3D. I would much rather see it in standard don't care for 3D to much but don't have a choice haha.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice*might not be the one*criticslove, but it sure is racking up impressive numbers at theweekend box office. In its first day of release, the movie has pulled in an estimated $82 million, with anaylsts placing it at $170M+ for the three day*Easter*weekend. While it didn't break any major box office records yet, it is on its way to having the best pre-summer opening of all time. And it will be Warner Bros.' biggest opening of all time, taking over the spot currently occupied by*Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2, which had a

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice*pulled in an impressive $27.7 million during*Thursday previews, before opening on 4,242 screens for Good Friday to the tune of $82 million. The film is reportedly budgeted at $250 million before marketing, with some estimates placing it at over $400 million after all is said and done. During its first day in theaters, it pulled in an impressive $19,333 per theater. The epic DC adventure had the highest Easter Weekend Thursday pre-show of all-time, besting 2015's*Furious 7, which earned $15.8 million this same time last year.

With a very low rotten score of 30% on Rotten Tomatoes, the movie is faring much better with average moviegoers and most comic book fans, earning a B CinemaScore. It's not an A, which could spell trouble for future box office, as word of mouth isn't exactly helping urge audiences into seats. But that shouldn't stop the movie from hitting its $170M+ mark by the time all the smoke clears on Monday. This will be the largest Batman opening, beatingThe Dark Knight Rises' 2012 take of $160.9 million during its opening weekend. That*Christopher Nolandirected sequel went onto gross $1.084 billion worldwide.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice*should have no problem stealing away the best pre-summer box office opening record, currently belonging to*The Hunger Games, which pulled in $152.5 million back in March 2012.Batman v Superman*is also faring well overseas, where it added $67.2 million on Friday for a total of $115.3 million during its three day international launch.

This total includes $20 million from China, which marks the biggest opening day for a Warner Bros. movie in that country. Worldwide, this follow-up to 2013's*Man of Steel*has earned a combine gross of $197 million.

In*Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Gotham City's own formidable, forceful vigilante, fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, takes on Metropolis's most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it's ever known before.*Zack Snyder*directs a cast that includes*Henry Cavill,Ben Affleck,*Gal Gadot,*Jesse Eisenberg,*Diane Lane,*Amy Adamsand*Jason Momoa. Have you seen*

Is it the best superhero film? No!

Is it better than Man of Steel, Iron Man 2, Iron Man 3, Avengers Age of Ultron, Ant-Man and all the Hulk & Thor movies? Yes, Yes it is!

My Rating: 4.5/5

My full review I wrote on Letterboxd!

First off was the critics drunk, stoned or what! Did I somehow watch a different film than they did?

I freaking loved this film! I don't know what more you could ask for sure there were a few small things that probably could have been presented a little differently (the biggest for me being the distance between Gotham & Metropolis) another thing I would have liked to have seen more between Lois & Clark (and the Planet staff) i just loved the little stuff like the look between Lois & Clark in the desert.

The cast was brilliant Cavill was better than in MOS and I thought he and Amy Adams had good chemistry. Fishburne is the best Perry White since Lane Smith (that's right I loved his portrayal on ABC's Lois & Clark) and Jeremy Irons take on Alfred is great we see the butler, the mechanic and Batman's aide!

I think its now been established that Ben Affleck is the best live action Bruce/Batman we have seen. However I was impressed with Jesse Eisenberg. I got that this was a different take on Lex the brilliance mixed with the eccentricities (in the mold of some of the young .com billionaires) Gal Gadot she was smokin' hot and the moment she showed up on screen in full Wonder Woman outfit (there were a few yells & hollers) the hairs on the back of my neck stood up (I'm not joking and her theme music! Wow!) and that smirk on her face after getting hit!! It's a shame we have to wait another year to see her stand alone film!

The entire films score was awesome even better than Man of Steel! Shout out to Hans Zimmer & Junkie XL. (whoever or whatever that is?)
I immediately went and bought the Deluxe Edition Soundtrack when I left the theater!

Not going to lie I had the biggest smile on my face the last 30 minutes or so (okay the entire film) until that ending (I can't believe I managed to not hear how it ended with the way the critics bashed it!) That ending! Wow! Again not afraid to admit I had a tear in my eye, it was wonderful & sad all at the same time! I had been waiting (wanting) to see that play out on the big screen since the spring of 1993!

Thank you Zack Snyder!

I thought it was a great movie. Definitely dark and gritty. There was a whole lot going on in the fight scenes so they were a little too chaotic, IMO, but nothing to really gripe about. I didn't totally make the connection in how Lex was influencing Batman to distrust/hate Superman, but I don't read comics so that could be the reason (or maybe I just missed it in the movie). All in all, definitely worth the trip.

I think Lex knew.....
Bruce was Batman (since he also knew about CK) and had been looking into metahumans etc... I think he used the amputee (former) Wayne Tech employee to pull Bruce's strings the letter etc.. "You let your family die" I think that was Lex not the former employee who wrote those!

That's kinda what I was thinking.

Its now clear that most of the movie going public are thinking different than the critics!

IMDB - 7.5/10
Rotten Tomatoes - 78%, 3.8/5
Metacritic - 7.3/10
