While I agree with the basic premise of your statement (thus the like... mostly for the war hawk left callout) I’d modify it to I don’t GAS about them either however live and let live. I don’t see a reason to risk spilling any more of our military’s blood here.

I can respect that. However I feel our first responsibility lies in not squandering the lives of our military. If Trump believed they were going to attack, and we have every reason to take Erdogan at his ultimatum word, then protect our troops first. Our loyalty to them demands that. Then act to curb Turkey’s aggression next.

Turkey hasn't acted like our ally recently, not talking about them shopping from Russia. I would draw down our military in a lot of other places before I would leave the Kurds. But again this a catch 22. we damned ourselves by getting involved. we damned ourselves by pulling out.
