Rex, could you tell how tall he was? He is listed at 6-1 but sometimes those numbers get padded. If he is truly 6-1 that is tall enough for a dual-threat, but I was just curious.

By the way, I doubt his HC would annouce his committment before Tajh does!! Just a thought and yes he is 6-1 and pretty solid frame and a Great Kid

In in interview yesterday, Boyd said Rocky Top is his clear favorite right now w/ BC and Oregon still having a chance. No more official visits scheduled. It's ours to lose.

Quick question about Boyd.... Coming from his last de-commit schoo........ Don't you have a multiple 5* waiting list of already redshirted freshman?

I wish him the best, it's obvious he didn't think he fit in our style of offense........ Because one day he was solid as a rock then the next thing you know he wanted to look around........ All of his boys are still coming here

They have been to every home game that we have had and one even went to UNC this weekend with his family and said it was "alright" I'm still 100% WVU......... We don't want tic tac players ......... if your not solid GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. We Turn 3* players into NFL stars....... Ask Slaton, schmitt, and Reynard...... And next year ask Pat White( who was a 3* QB, and has had Heisman talk for 3 years............ We like players who have something to prove!

Pat White is not going to make an NFL team as a qb. And I wouldn't call any of the guys you mentioned stars.

Please keep the recruiting player threads on topic. Once again, I just split out about 50 posts discussing coaching changes. There are plenty of other threads to discuss that topic.

They are Rookies...... Slaton is 1 of 32 Starting running backs in the NFL.... Schmitt is a FB(First fullback drafted) And the NFL doen't use FB's .... Hell Indy doesn't even have one on there roster. Slaton will finsh second in Rookie of the year behind Matt Ryan.

P.S. - I ment to say Starters not Stars! ha

Sorry New to the site...... Still trying to figure it out.... It's alot like WVU's ........ I enjoy College football talk but most of all Recruiting
