heck no...we need a QB desperately. Crompton was a 5* on Scout, but he will likely never see the field again.

his HC didnt annouce his committment, he told the recruit staff at WVU and basically its over between him and WV

From what im reading it sounds like Boyd is a silent and just waiting on the coaching situation to settle before going public

says he talked to his coach and he didn't make a commitment that he knows of. said if anything changes he'll let us know..but he finished up saying that in the end he thinks he is a Vol.

No, we're extremely thin at QB. Boyd could probably come in and start next year. At the absolute longest, he'd start as a redshirt sophomore, if Stephens turned into a really good qb, but that's unlikely.

so he just loved the visit. thinks he will end up a vol when its all said and done. sounds good but i want him to commit asap lol. does sound like a silent at this point tho.

Mainly the guys we are looking at now Moses, Bonds, Myles etc. If we hire a college coach, we might see some players try and come with him.

Sam Montgomery and J Boyd are UNC leans. Donte Moss is a 5 star DE UNC commit.
Not to mention the 5 or 6 prospects who have both UT and UNC in their top 5....

we need Butch.

Thats because they know they can win easily in the ACC because the lack of competition in the ACC, Butch would never pull in 5* recruits at Tennessee, and his style of offense would NEVER work at Tennessee. For all you Butch fans, He is not coming to Tennessee. Hamilton is not stupid, and not going to bring his style of football to Tennessee.

What style of offense does Butch run? Last I checked he was a defensive guy that let his OC run the offense. You are clueless.

I really hope we wouldn't pick a coach based on what recruits he is currently after and that he could pull here THIS year...but rather whether or not he recruited much better than his predecessors did, etc. You have to pretty much accept that a coaching change may tank an entire year's recruiting class and then move on....
