I didn't aim anything towards race, I'm just being honest. Look at most black QB'S they blow they game when it's on the line. For instance, Randall Cobb against Georgia and Vanderbilt. Im not saying I don't want Cobb either, cause he is an outstanding athlete. Maybe if Boyd were a reciever than it would be different, but he's not.

compared to Crompton he was calm. and Ric only played 15 games and had 2425 yards passing and 14 tds, and an impressive come back against LSU. I know Cassey had more yards and more TD's. I'm not saying Ric was better but he didn't burn time outs like his brother did and seemed more calm under center where Cassey seemed more erratic. Now compared to this years 3 stooges Ric was better than average. Now Nic seemed more at ease thus Kept him the starting job for a couple of games did it not. I think under a good QB coach he could be developed into a good QB. Crompton on the other hand needs a miracle

LineBacker isn't as important as the Quarterback position.QB requires more leadership and great not good decision making skills. Take Jonathan Crompton he's white and has horrible, if not worse, decision making skills. Im not being racist just trying to prove a point. Unless you run the spread(which we dont)most black QB'S aren't very successful.

This is absolutely hysterical. Like Lex said, Vince Young, Tee Martin,Jamarcus Russell etc have had a real tough time with big games and blowing it.

The MLB is the qb of the defense.

The type of offense does not matter.

One still has to make good decisions whether you run the veer, spread, option or pro-style.

Do you think you can be a bad decision maker and run the triple option properly?

Other than Tee Martin, Young and Russell have proved nothing to me. Young played a worthy opponet USC, but remember it wasn't all him he had good talent surrounding him too. Russell performed well, but it was against OSU, who sucked. Russell and Young did ok at the college, but has amounted to absolutely nothing now.

No thats what I mean, most black QB'S are best when running the veer, spread, or option. Because those type of offenses require a good rushing QB. Now Heath Shuler is different he was a hell of a runner, but a hell of a thrower too. Thats why he made it to the NFL. Take away the injury he suffered and I think he would've been great.

What does it really matter what color he is? OSU who sucked? WOW REALLY? Vince Young is the sole reason why Texas won the national championship. He dominated that game. The very idea that someone would imply race has a factor in how a QB blows a game is complete racist garbage. Its almost as bad as that black man I read about recently who is suing the PD cause he said the breathlizer was racist towards blacks. Complete ignorance. That's because of athleticism not smarts.

Do you really think you don't need good decision making to run the offenses?

From all reports Shuler's problem was his smarts and decision making... interesting.

Maybe Heath would have found success if Norv Turner ran the veer in Washington.

your going against yourself man, Shuler "made" it to the NFL but didn't do crap...just like you said Young, Russell haven't.
