Tajh Boyd

All of your stupid comments, don't make a damn bit of since. You make the Gayest comments I've ever heard. Like did you have a bad day at class tommy. Thats the Gayest thing I've ever heard. You've got QUEER written all over you!
You know....It's a proven fact, that when teenage males constantly defend theirselves by calling other people homosexuals, they usually turn out to be one theirself.

Not looking good for you Junior. I hear the weather in the Pacific Northwest is nice this time of year though.

He did not have a choice...On the monster this morning Kiffen said he called Boyd and told him he would not fit into his system but would honor the scholarship but called to let him know the direction of the team...More or less we decommitted to him

STOP IT! K.....I....F....F....I....N

He is our head coach now. You need to learn to spell it.

wow! Go away for a couple of hours and come back to a firestorm!

That guy that was saying Rick was better than Casey earlier sure got off easy...

I love this place...you got me laughing so now is a good time to leave the salt mines and head home! Thanks for the entertainment. You guys rock. Well, most of you anyway. Not the racist ones though

Actually I said right after his post.................... This was gonna be a show from here on out. :D Thanks for for proving me right, TheVolunteer. ;)

did this apply to fulmer as well? if so, i must have missed all the mandatory support we had to give him....

Kiffin has to prove me wrong, because quite frankly I don't think he is a good coach. Until then, I wish him the best, but I do not yet support him.

Nobody has to support him. I think we need to though. Not supporting him isn't gonna do any good. If nothing else do it for your own sanity.

There's a huge difference between supporting a new coach and one who, 17 years in his tenure, is 10 years removed from a conference title and goes 10-13 in two of his last four seasons.

I believe the majority of us were Fulmer supporters when he first took over, but that support was lost over time as the program declined on his watch.

No coach should have enduring, perpetual support merely because he is the coach, but neither should CLK be getting slammed before he's even coached his first game at UT. CLK wasn't my first choice, but he's our guy now, and instead of making him earn my support, I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and supporting him unless and until he proves himself to be unworthy.

wow, when i called capt deuche bag a Bama fan he went off didn't he? I love being called names over the internet. Its like running on a treadmill...you ain't getting anywhere. Hopefully he is banned, and dont came with some other ingenious screenname

nobody here ever Majors fans

i liked boyd.seemed like a team player and eager to help recruit.hope this dosnt bite us in the butt down the road.look forward to hearing who his replacement is ?

Boyd was only 6', If you look a Kiffin's systems he recruits 6'3" or better Qb's. Pro-style system fits taller Qb's like PEYTON!!!

I'd imagine it's going to be one of the following:

Crompton
Stephens
Coleman
Petty

I don't think Kiffin will get someone else to decommit and join TN in time that is of his desired QB pedigree. I'd assume he's waiting until next year to find his QB.

Ok here's my question ... why exactly did Kiffin decide that Boyd wasn't going to work out in his system? And I'm tired of everyone saying that it's because he wouldn't fit in his "system" that's bs... because if that's the case then why is Kiffin going for 2010 " DUAL QB " recruit Barry Brunetti -- Ht: 6-foot-2
Wt: 210 lbs.... when 2009 recruit Tajh Boyd -- Ht: 6-foot-1
Wt: 208 lbs it just does not make any sense to me. Seems weird to me.... why not everyone else???

I heard it was as much an issue with his arm strength as anything else. It wasn't that he could run and Kiffin doesn't like that, it's that Kiffin wants more of a pocket passer who has a strong arm.

Yeah from what I gather height is a plus but arm strength is a must with Kiffin. You can work around height and improve accuracy. You just can't teach arm strength.
