Boyd admitted that he didn't have a strong opinion about Oregon going into the trip, but they seem to have made a good impression.
"Before I can't really say because I had never thought I was going to be able to make it out there. I liked it pretty much, though. Before it was a 6 or 7 maybe," he said. "After (his visit) it was probably like a 9 or 9.5. It's the same as Ohio State I look both of those schools equally. I need to talk with my parents and stuff."
The No. 86-ranked player in the Rivals100, Boyd told us that he was excited about the chance to compete at those two schools.
"Right now if I was to go there, I would probably enroll in March because of their quarter system. That's the same with Ohio State. Basically I can get ready and come in and compete for early playing time. It's the best situation – competition makes you better."
With visits each of the past two weekends, it appears that Boyd has narrowed things down considerably. Those two schools are in strong position, however they're not the only contenders.
"It's a deadlock between Ohio State and Oregon and B.C. is still in the mix," he said. "I haven't set up a visit yet, but they're still in the mix."
