Where are their military's troops? If France or GB wants to bitch, where were their troops at? I'm really sick of the Europeans blaming us for crap that happens in their backyards when they are nowhere to be seen.
To be fair, that headline was misleading. They took on quote from Johnson and twisted it to make it seem more critical do Biden.

Trump made the decision to withdraw, correct? Made the deal to leave, correct?

Had Biden said no, we are not leaving, you'd have blamed him for every death of a US soldier ever since.

You can't have it both ways. You can't pat Trump on the back for deciding to leave and bash Biden for, you know, actually leaving.

You think there might have been a reason Trump hadn't put in place a precipitous withdrawal? The thing is you need an exit strategy BEFORE you grab the tiger's tail or get yourself in a bad spot. When you are spread out all over a country, it's pretty obvious if you start withdrawing one place what's happening, and that makes each step that follows much more precarious. Retreats are dangerous business. From them come comments like "Retreat hell! We’re just attacking in another direction" Invasions are planned; most exits much less so. This one seems to have been very lacking in planning and coordination ... and expressly in intelligence that was necessary for planning. Those failures were years in the making (the people); perhaps Trump was hesitant because he was seeing failure in prosecution. Plan the exit strategy before you ever commit to starting something.

Where’s the Vice President? Biden calls a lid just after lunch and she’s nowhere to be seen. Guess neither of them want to answer questions about how completely they’ve ****ed this up.

I blame Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Obama, Trump, Biden and a whole bunch of people around them. This should have ended when Al Queda was routed.
I blame the war monger generals we have allowed to run our military and promote endless wars and now have become woke and are more worried about gender issues and racially dividing our military than winning a war.

Trump would have done exactly the same thing. He'd have followed the advice of the same career experts that Biden did.

You think Trump might have seen any of that and looked for better advice if he wasn't being impeached all the time? We can't quit politics long enough to make rational policy, but nobody considered that before politicizing everything and making that the rule. Think about the courts and NCAA and NIL; what's the exit strategy when that blows up? Long term thought and rationality no longer exist. Just jump in with both feet ranting and raving - forget caution or common damn sense.

This was from two days ago before the **** show that has unfolded. If they’ve lost CNN the admin is doomed. I’d guess were looking at the beginning of the end of the Biden admin. No it won’t happen over night or even soon but irreparable damage has been done to this admin by their own various actions on several fronts.

Fox has the highest cable viewership and they are going to continually pound this message thru midterms which will be a blood bath for Dems then Biden is a two year lame duck. (If he can even finish his first and only term)

And if you think we’re not hearing much from Harris now we will be hearing even less going forward as she tries to get out of the blast radius. However her 15 minutes of fame have passed too the way she’s handled herself which already put her in hiding.

Opinion: Biden deserves blame for the debacle in Afghanistan - CNN

He made the deal to leave. You guys were all for it. Now you want to seize on the outcome and blame Biden.

Two things are certain. One is that this was the inevitable result of leaving, no matter who's idea it was and no matter who was in office when it happened. Two is that everyone would blame everyone else.
This is BS. Trump may have screwed it up too, but we'll never know. What we do know is Biden has screwed it up. He's the Commander-in-Chief. The withdrawal strategy, which was piss poor, falls squarely on him. His intelligent and military chiefs presented this plan to him and he signed off. Whether or not there were any voices counseling him differently, we'll most likely never know, but this is the direction Biden chose, and it exploded in his face. Stop trying to play hot potato with the blame. It falls on Biden. Remember the Truman slogan on his desk, "The Buck Stops Here".
