'We should Inflict Pain On Them': Pompeo issues Fiery Call for Biden to Unleash Airstrikes on Taliban surrounding Kabul and says the extremist group Would Not 'run wild and free' if Trump was still in office

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has issued a call for President Joe Biden to take charge of rapidly deteriorating situation in Afghanistan and launch air strikes against the Taliban who are surrounding the capital of Kabul.

'It looks like the Biden demonstration has just failed in its execution of its own plan. It looks like they are now trying to get folks out. It also looks like there's a bit of panic having to reinsert soldiers to get them out,' Pompeo told Fox News on Sunday.

'I hope we get these folks out. I hope they will bring the airpower. They should go crush these Taliban who are surrounding Kabul.

'We should do it with American airpower, we should put pressure on them, we should inflict cost and pain on them.

Pompeo is absolutely correct. I don’t think the Taliban can help themselves. I think they’re just itching to inflict casualties on American troops, diplomats and any Afghans that helped the US. I can’t imagine what’s going through the minds of Afghans tonight that thought the Taliban nightmare was over.

Biden's Words Come Back To Haunt Him: Just five weeks ago the president said there's 'no circumstance where Americans will be lifted out of the U.S. embassy in Kabul by helicopter' – and now he's trying to squirm out of it by blaming Trump

  • Biden said on July 8: 'There's going to be no circumstance where you're going to see people being lifted off the roof of a embassy of the U.S. from Afghanistan'
  • Just five weeks later, exactly that happened as Americans were evacuated from the U.S. Embassy in Kabul as the Taliban breached the capital city
Joe Biden insisted last month that there's no way his troop withdrawal from Afghanistan would lead to a Saigon-like situation with Americans emergency evacuated out of the U.S. embassy in Kabul by helicopter.

'There's going to be no circumstance where you're going to see people being lifted off the roof of a (sic) embassy of the United States from Afghanistan,' the president said during a press conference on July 8, 2021.

Biden insisted during that press conference that the U.S. would not succumb to the Taliban once troops were withdrawn and is now trying to divert blame for the takeover on Donald Trump.

Biden is now eating his words after Americans were evacuated from the U.S. Embassy in Kabul by helicopter just five weeks after his remarks. A twin-rotor U.S. Air Force Chinook was seen taking off from the US Embassy Sunday as the evacuation efforts rapidly pick up

This is what happens with a completely incompetent fool in charge.

Serious question… Has the word “crisis” ever been attached to so many different levels of an administration as the current one ?
The border crisis, the Covid crisis, the Afghanistan Crisis, the inflation issues …. Etc… Every single damn day there’s a new crisis

And we are only 8 months in.

Chaos at Kabul Airport: Thousands of Afghans Gather At CLOSED Terminal - which is Now Guarded by US Troops - as Fighting Breaks Out Between People Desperate To Get Out while non-military flights are grounded

Thousands of desperate Afghans are gathering at Kabul airport in chaotic scenes after the Afghan capital fell to the Taliban who have announced a new 'Islamic Emirate'.

US troops are guarding the airport but all non-military flights are grounded after gunfire was heard nearby and while American personnel take over air traffic control.

Video from Kabul showed panicked stampedes to the gates of the airport, while some passengers were forced to get off their commercial flights when departures were stopped.

Hundreds of passengers were filmed thronging the tarmac by Afghan businessman Shoaib Barak who said he was forced to get off his KamAir flight after boarding and heard gunfire.

The speed of the Taliban advance has taken almost everyone by surprise and Afghans who had booked commercial flights to escape the Taliban face being forced to remain in Afghanistan.

Westerners will be evacuated by their home nations on military flights but the Taliban has said that it will not allow Afghan citizens to leave.

Tens of thousands of interpreters and officials who helped the Western-backed Afghan government are desperate to escape the country for fear of reprisals by the Taliban.

A NATO official said all commercial flights had been suspended and only military aircraft were allowed to operate. The alliance said it was helping to keep the airport running (pictured: Scenes at Kabul airport)

I hate it for the ones that just want to live in peace.

but the Taliban has said that it will not allow Afghan citizens to leave.

And there you have it. If Biden has handled this thing so poorly that tens of thousands of Afghanis who helped us will be murdered because he didn't get them out in time, there will be hell to pay.

US intelligence agencies have admitted they underestimated the speed with which the Taliban has come back to power. Fooled both Trump and Viden administrations.

9/11, Berlin Wall, breakup of USSR, ... What exactly have our intelligence agencies known when it mattered? Of course they have all our phone calls, but supposedly they need a judge to listen to them ... you know just in case we are laundering some money or helping the Russians meddle in our affairs or something. They did a bang up job for the Cubans back in the Kennedy days, and the Dulles brothers kinda used the agency to buy a country and save their bananas. Oh, a little drug smuggling and gun running on the side for fun and profit.

I mean, this is crazy. You're watching live footage of higher level Taliban in the Presidential Palace and it's not being turned into a sandbox???

The President, CIA and National Security advisors are all to blame. There should be mass resignations and firings over this. No excuse for not planning for worst case scenario with multiple contingency plans and the lack of intelligence on Taliban movement. They’ve sealed the fate of the Afghan people.

Does anyone think Milley gets fired over this?

Not really, but Milley absolutely should be canned. It's like they have their tame monkey in the throwback suit in place, and he has the pictures. The AF has a politically correct Charlie Brown in place, and God knows what the Navy has been promoting up the chain.

Hardened Taliban, al Qaeda Killers Released

Afghan officials estimated that the U.S. left about 5,000 to 7,000 prisoners in the air base when the Americans left, according to Axios.

The Pul-e-Charkhi prison, the largest in Afghanistan, contained a maximum-security cell block for al Qaeda and Taliban prisoners. Afghan government troops surrendered control of the base without a fight.

I am at the point now that I think we did it this way on propose. I know somethings get looked over, but we have left weapons, our people, and a base full of prisoners. If this "was" Trump they would be setting up a impeachment trial. We pooched this one real good.
