Nolte: Biden’s Presidency Collapsed with Afghanistan

Biden-Sweating-Afghanistan-640x480.jpg

What we are witnessing today is the end of Joe Biden’s presidency… Afghanistan was merely the last straw…

  1. Joe Biden Lost Entire Country in a Single Day
Nolte: Biden's Presidency Collapsed with Afghanistan
That is melodramatic overreach, which comes across as a partisan hit job. No American presidency either begins or ends with anything pertaining to the inability of the Afghan people to govern themselves, or with the inability of the Afghan military to defend the freedoms of their people. Three other presidential administrations tried unsuccessfully to help them on their feet over the last 20 years... Republicans liked an "America First" approach to foreign policy while Trump was President. This is America first. This is not America's problem anymore.

Republicans are trying to seize an opportunity to exploit what they perceive to be a foreign policy crisis for the Biden administration, but that is disingenuous, because it's the same policy which the Trump administration employed in Syria and would have also done in Afghanistan, if Trump was still in office.

I honestly don't believe Biden or Harris can win in 2024. The horrendous border fiasco, crime, inflation, and the Afghanistan debacle will insure his defeat.

It's not about getting out. it's about how we got out. I wanted us out years ago. should have just dropped nukes on those folks 20 years ago and been done with it IMO. but that's not the course we took. they should've prioritized getting those people out of there starting in January. instead, they spent their time making sure that they and all the tech billionaires and Wall Street financiers who bought them the presidency and senate would get paid from the public trough.

Again, if we would have announced a date you guys would be on here saying how stupid that was.

There was no clean way to do this.
There were multiple announced dates. Most of the responses were glad we were getting out.

Sorry you are just now paying attention.

I strongly disagree, especially if it is a Biden vs Trump rematch. Inflation and the "Afghanistan debacle" are as much the responsibility of the Trump administration as they are the Biden administration. The Afghan withdrawal is just a continuation of the Trump "peace deal" struck with the Taliban last year... which he used to want credit for.

And it is dumb to think that will have an impact on an American election in 3 years, anyway.

It is no different than how Trump bailed on the Kurds in northern Syria.

It won't be Trump. Taliban Joe will NOT be able to hide in his basement like he did in 2020. He will have to hit the campaign trail and it will exhaust him.

And blaming Trump for Biden's Afghanistan fiasco will not work.

Sorry, but facts are facts. Trump struck a peace deal with the Taliban last year.

If you cannot see the S show you’re blind. This makes Bush 1’s “read my lips” snd W’s “mission accomplished” look like the greatest shows on earth. This is a gigantic F up

State Department calls for Taliban to include women in its government

Spokesman Ned Price says US Might Recognize Government that 'upholds rights' and 'doesn't harbor terrorists'

Despite the Taliban's long history of oppression of women and iron-fisted rule, U.S. State Department spokesman Ned Price Monday urged Afghanistan's new leaders to form an inclusive government that had women in it.

Price said that the U.S. government would recognize a potential new government of Afghanistan so long as that government "upholds rights, doesn't harbor terrorists, and protects the rights of women and girls." He did not say how the Taliban could convince the U.S. government that it has reformed itself in this way.

Won’t happen. If anyone in this admin thinks this will happen, they are delusional, stupid or both.

There you go with your "whataboutism". So obsessed with Trump. Must be sad for you.
Living rent free all day every day in your head. You can't live without Trump in your veins.
Joe Biden is the worse president of all time. He's never right on foreign policies. And he's not right as of yet with his domestic policies. The Border stays wide open while he breaks our laws.

But it’s your drooling incompetent fool that pulled everything out in the middle of the night without getting US personnel out first. Holy partisan idiocy man….
An actual Trump statement from February of 2020 on the killing of terrorists in Afghanistan:

"It's time for someone else to do that work and it will be the Taliban and it could be surrounding countries." - President Donald Trump on February 29, 2020

It is eerily similar to Vietnam during the fall of Saigon... at least we aren't forced to push helicopters into the sea this time. This was a failure 19 years in the making with a lot of blame to go around. Biden deserves some... and so does George W. Bush and Barack Obama, and yes... so does Donald Trump.

This shows just how stupid this admin is. They’re over there laughing at the thought of this while they prepare to enslave, rape and decapitate.

They didn’t push helicopters into the sea…. They left the weaponry for the Taliban to take and use. This is a screw up of epic proportions
