Thought you said it wasn't smack talk.
Meyer has developedan NFL QBone of the biggest busts in NFL history, Alex Smith. I will give you that if he promises every QB that goes to UF that he guarantees them a job in the NFL, then he might be untruthful.
I just don't see the point. Top programs produce NFL players just like smaller programs at all positions.
Damn man, can you not argue the point at all? Or are you going to continually run from it like a drone?I don't disagree that some high school QBs believe that going to UF will prevent them from making the NFL. That's fine. IMO, that changes nothing about the quality of a program. Meyer's program is different.
Given a choice, I'll take a winning program at UF and many kids going to the NFL as opposed to putting a QB in the NFL, occasionally, and a mediocre college program.
See . . . Was that so hard?I don't disagree that some high school QBs believe that going to UF will prevent them from making the NFL. That's fine. IMO, that changes nothing about the quality of a program. Meyer's program is different.

This thread is not designed to talk about how great UF's program is, it's to talk about how your QB's suck when they are removed from a good college football system.I don't disagree that some high school QBs believe that going to UF will prevent them from making the NFL. Not one similar to Navy's . . . just one that looks a lot the inconsistent one they ran this year.

Couldn't agree more, he will find it very difficult when he is no longer surrounded by the best talent and can't get away with all the poor mechanics he could in college. The guy has yet to deal with much adversity and it will show in the NFLIts this simple. The guy lacks the intelligence and ability to be an NFL QB. He was a great system Qb in college and thats it.
If you did an interview with him where he was not allowed to say the words "God" or "Jesus Christ" or "Lord and Savior"....I think he would probably just sit in silence.
Not knocking his religious beliefs at all, just stating a fact.

You're right. We should lock him up now.
to the gator spewing garbage;
You'll also take finishing behind Alabama along with the rest of the SEC in the upcoming years too. It will be an honor to watch you Florida honks be knocked off your sanctimonious pedestals.
no, but how about we stop talking about him being a great guy soley because he's good at football and religious. the guy is an empty suit. he's as much of a media creation as oj, kobe, and tiger were. to imply you know better because you are a gator fan and follow him is just ridiculous.
You may do as you wish. But until proven otherwise, Tim's a quality kid that has accomplished a lot and may or may not make it in the NFL ie. a good person, and I'll defend that.

To jealous fence sitters everywhere;
Losing a few games won't be a surprise and it won't be the end of the world.
