Yeah, a 5 star QB was an F for the Gators.

aww poor timmy missed sarcasm class.

here timmy: the irony of this situation is that you guys are saying the same things about tebow now that you did 3 years ago when he became a starter (can't throw, can't play against sec defenses, etc). and boy, were you guys right. he only went on the win a heisman, championship, and became arguably the greatest collegiate player ever. sorry if anyone is little skeptical about the football "knowledge" around these boards. it sure is funny though. heres a tissue :cray:

I'd print that on a tee shirt and run with it. It'll go good with your mullet and jean shorts

I became a pro football fan 15 years ago.

I learned 14 years ago not to judge NFL decisions in the draft until at least 2 years down the road.

Denver may trade him. He may never play a down outside of preseason. He might be used as a TE.
You don't draft a guy in the first round that you plan on making change positions.
He might a Pro Bowler.

He's no Earl Anthony.

Funny line I heard on the radio this morning: Tebow wanted to go to Denver so he could play closer to God.

yeah, you run with that one. Be sure to print shirts up about it too. Print alot of them. Be sure to ask them at Washington State how many since they were just as giddy about Ryan Leaf going in round 1.

It takes a Vol to teach a ga-terd about football since you had zero until Spurrier got there in the 90s. Thank you.

Why some NFL front office hasn't harnessed your genius is amazing to me.

What cracked me up the most last night is Tebow had a twin last night at his house party. Nothing like wardrobe coordination that says I love you.

Nothing says maturity and manliness like bagging on another guy's wardrobe.

Tim Tebow was drafted at #25 in the FIRST ROUND of 2010 NFL Draft.

In spite of many media know-it-alls and message board gurus, a multimillion dollar pro sports franchise chose to invest in a quality young man who has been a winner at everything he does.

Nothing says I'm a whiner like copy and pasting multiple times. I bet you're going out right now to buy a baby blue dress shirt. Stud.

That's what I was thinking. Plus it was teal not baby blue!!! jk

Name the latest Tennessee fan that offered a lame excuse that NFL success validates the success of a college program and minimizes the current failures of another college program.

Name the last time you made a comment that made sense.

Other than a multi million football program made a horrible decision drafting Tebow 25th overall.

I don't care what a person's opinion of Tebow is. As a first round pick, the Broncos were very foolish to take him. He would have been available later unless they had some inside information worth giving up half of a draft for a guy who has a good chance of never being an NFL starter.

Many NFL teams pride themselves on drafting players in the first round that have a good chance of never being an NFL starter.

A few NFL teams choose to draft players in the first round that have have been GUARANTEED long, successful careers as starters and All-Pros.

Those are the more successful teams.

Pretty sure you are making stuff up. Did you notice how far Dez Bryant fell? All because he was late to practice a couple of times and the thing with Deion.

Like Barry Sanders and the Detroit Lions. How many championships did they win with him?

Detroit was 78-82 in the years Barry Sanders was there (89-98). That wouldnt be considered a successful team.

Might want to brush up on some facts before you try to make conjectures. It really makes you look dumb.

Come on, that's too much. He was a great player, but there've been guys just in the last decade that've been at least comparable. I said he'd do well in college from the get-go and obviously he did. That said, this was a terrible draft pick. I'm not sure if he'll do well at the next level, but there's obviously a great deal of doubt out there. This was clearly an overdraft.

Yeah, that makes sense. Why not draft a top shelf wide receiver to replace Brandon Marshall, or fill another need with a player that won't be available later and then still get Tebow? It's not a successful strategy to bypass good players to pay more for a guy you could get later for less cash.

No need when I have you to enlighten me with your endless supply of NFL knowledge.

Give me some more stats. What do you have on Marino and the Dolphins ?
