Tennessee considers withholding monoclonal antibody treatment from vaccinated citizens

You have always seemed like a guy who only gets self-worth from a W2.
Usually an indicator of a small penis.

So you have a small penis and low T. Usually an indicator of the sensitive and ones that based all things on feelings.

Do people chose to be fat?

I have put on a hundred pounds since 2013. I am still missing skin on my left leg, so I have been prescribed a high protein diet to help regrow tissue. The wounds mean swimming is out of the equation. I need to have my left knee replaced because of severe damage to the joint; I cannot straighten my leg. I cannot have that procedure done until after my leg completely heals from the damage in 2013. Running, jogging, and distance walking are out because of the damage to the knee. I am now too heavy for bikes/ellipticals outside of therapy, which I can't get because it's still Covid times and I'm not post surgical and can't get a prescription for PT.

It's a bloody mess, it is. I hate being this big. I didn't choose the path that put me here. I'm working every day to get out, as much as my body lets me.

Like Covid deaths, you’re likely an outlier. The obesity problem in our country is far and away self-induced.

High protein doesnt mean high fat/calorie. There are plenty of self weight exercises that dont require running, or any equipment that will keep you somewhat active. Not saying it gets you into hot girl summer mode, but it keeps the waste trim(mer).

Heck, wheel chair aerobics will tire anyone out, but ease into it or you will kill your shoulders. There is a lady I see regularly on West Peachtree just straight booking it down the sidewalk in her chair. Sweat band, earbuds, and a normal looking wheelchair. She exercises more than I do with a relatively functional body.

There is a huge difference in carrying some/a lot of bad weight, but being active; and just being a fat arse. And that is 100% choice.

In many cases genetics are a big factor.
It's weird how the genes were repressed until relatively recently.

So I was watching more WW2 in Color last night (love that old footage).

In last night’s episode, the Soviets had completely eradicated genetic obesity amongst the local German population that was wintering in Stalingrad. It was remarkable.

No I don't want to go down that road.
I do not agree with surcharges for tobacco use or pre-existing conditions.
Some people make unwise decisions that cost the rest of us money.
Smoking, overeating, refusing the vax......etc.
I just want people to be consistent.

Voting Democrat.

Are you saying you think there should be a surcharge on those refusing the vaccine?
Smoking?
Overeating?
Stress?

Nope, just pointing out another unwise decision people make that costs other people money.

I've read a lot of WWII memoirs and it's funny how they talk about giving the "big man" the BAR and he's 5'10" 165lbs.

Some of the old colour (film and photographs) looks weird. I've wondered how much of it was that way at the time, and how much of it comes from aging.

It's interesting that smoking is really the only one that we pass the costs along to (for those paying for insurance).

It's not weird, it's how society has turned on that particular vice. Alcohol does far more damage to society and health than tobacco ever could. But it's more socially accepted and gets a pass. Same with being overweight. The majority of people are overweight so we don't want to be singled out with higher premiums. Even though we're already subsidizing our country's fatness with our current premiums.

I've always found that curious myself.

This is part of it. But, at least for insurance premiums, it's easier to single out as a yes/no question. If you wanted to assess risk on alcohol, weigh, etc. it would be murkier (how much is bad?)

Lol it was 300 doctors surveyed

This is a couple months old but suggests the hesitancy rate among Docs might be more like 10%

"An ongoing monthly survey of more than 1.9 million U.S. Facebook users led by researchers at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh recently looked at vaccine hesitancy by occupation. It revealed a spectrum of hesitancy among health care workers corresponding to income and education, ranging from a low of 9% among pharmacists to highs of 20%-23% among nursing aides and emergency medical technicians. About 12% of registered nurses and doctors admitted to being hesitant to get a shot."
