It makes me sick to imagine Vol fans rooting for a team they hate all year. I get the positives for the conference but I'll quietly be pulling for the Irish.

I for one do no enjoy watching Alabama win. Ever.

I was never taught to hate Bama, or anyone else. I was shown how good it feels to beat them.

I played football in HS, 4 year letterman. I learned to get fired up a bit more for certain teams, due to a history being in place. I was never taught to hate.

I learned to respect those teams, for whom, I got so fired up. It makes beating them even more fulfilling. A team WORTH beating, and BRAGGING about it.

I do not brag about beating SC, Vandy, MSU, Ole Miss, UK, etc, etc. But beating Bama, and a few others, is worth bragging about.

I will be pulling for Bama, and all other SEC Teams to win, and increase the SEC's draw, while bringing $$$$$ to UT for Coaches, facilities, etc, etc.

Hate lasts about 6 seconds in a football game. Then you get hit. Instinct, execution and athletisism takeover from there. Hate never won a football game. You play like you practice.

We hardly ever compete with ND for anything. However we play Bama every year, in every sport, we fight with them for a bunch of recruits. I don't want Bama to win a dang thing..EVER. Them winning only hurts us more. I hate them, I hate their macot, I hate their fans. Go Irish

Id rather the world just go ahead and end on Dec. 21st than for Alabama to win another National Championship. I see as much Bama stickers and plates on peoples cars here in middle Tennessee than Vols. Its getting old...

Another truth is that when your team sucks like the Vols do.. we tend to pull for the SEC because we have nothing else to be proud of, nothing else to hang our hat on... The truth is, the longer Georgia, LSU, Alabama, Florida, etc... continue to go to SEC championships, win titles and win bowl games... we are never going to be able to close the gap.

i would maybe root for bama if they weren't playing for the national title. They are good but i really really dislike them and don't want them to win any more titles ever.

all this so called money we would get if bama won a nc aint gonna do us a darn bit of good so they should lose even more so. no amount of money is worth hearing all the bandwagon bammers talking about nc number 87.

I'm not an SEC fan.....I'm a Tennessee Vols fan. In my opinion, when other SEC teams succeed, that places Tennessee behind them (in several ways...national perception, recruiting, etc), and since I always root for what's best for the Vols I root against all other SEC teams.

When I came over to the land of orange I had a simple but humble mandate, to make the Crimson Tide everyone's second favorite SEC team. If you follow my post, you have probably felt that sense of unity and reconciliation in many of my rebuttals, even when the misguided offer little more than strong emotions based on preconceived ideas and biased motives on the part of the masses. After many futile attempts to find common ground and points of interest, it is evident that my master plan may take a little longer then originally thought.

In the meantime, I would like to invite one and all to relax, take a deep breath and enjoy the upcoming, Crimson Tide's 15th National Championship.

The top talent is going to go to bama, add 3 titles in 4 years, thank god they can't still sign as many as you want to like the old days he[[ we would not get a single player. I agree with the one poster Miami sliding into the ocean would be the best New Year present I ever had. Sorry If you pull for bama get the HE]] outta of here and stay the HE]] out. I'm pro Big Orange, not pro SEC, if they're winning NC's then it just makes it that much harder to recruit against them, only an idiot would cheer for Bama.

I know this is a joke. But it's just like real life with the bandwagon fans that have turned againest their home state where I live. I'm so tired of it.

I was born and raised in Tennessee. While growing up in Tennessee, I always disliked UA. Having lived alabama the past 11 years, I not only dislike UA, but I hate UA. I would not pull for Alabama if Iraq was playing against them. Period!

I can't find myself to root for Alabama. Being in Ohio having Osu fans in my family they warned me I better root for Alabama. Hell no, I don't care if Notre dame wins, they haven't won a title since 1988, bammer has won 2 of the last 3 and once again got lucky enough to go back. Even if bama loses, the sec is still a strong conference. Idk how any vol fan can root for Alabama. I don't care if they're in the sec, I also don't get the Notre dame hate. Sure they might think they're everything, but they're not the only ones. So in other words, I will be rooting for ND. I despise Alabama and it makes me sick they have this kind if dynasty going. So...go Irish! And as always...GO VOLS!!!!
