Tennessee Lady Vol News

So glad the WBB game does not do the one and done as the men’s side does. Also very glad the Women’s side puts more emphasis on the student side of student-athletes than does the men’s side. To me, the WBB game is purer than the men’s side but it’s just a personal thing with me, doesn't mean much Except to me. But I do enjoy WBB more than MBB at the collegiate level.

Been a tough season overall Burrell goes down in first game yet the team met that challenge. The Green injury and Burrell still not back to the form that she showed last season caused a lot of problems for the team especially on the road. Now the Horston injury has to be demoralizing for this team. Injuries have been the real thing that killed what was going to be a great season. Really proud of the team and the coaches for holding it together as best they can. Still a ways to go and I think this team will get it together and finish strong.

I think that Kellie has done a great job with this team far better than pervious coach when compared the squad Mercedes played. Some fans may hate it but, be4 season starts I didn't believe that this team will beat any ranked teams. Sometimes, unexpected happens and as a coach u deal with it. I wish her best of luck and that these injuries turn out positively for her. Look at the stars SC has and compare that with us but we still fought. This yr is the worst injury yr and some teams are taking the advantage not because they're good to be in the top 10 but good luck. Any team that will win this yr championship may be a suprise and injury free. It could be us. Never say Never this yr there's no worst team cause any team may suprise top team.

Women's Bracketology: Big Ten race will help determine top-16 seeds

Still a four seed in the NCAA know what we have to do to keep it.

It'll be really interesting to see how the committee handles us. We're currently 2-3 against the NET top 10 (including 1 road win), 4-3 against the top 25 (3 of those 4 wins on the road), with the opportunity to go up to 5-3 with a win against LSU, and 12-4 against the top 50 - that's a lot of high quality wins. The losses to Alabama (#61) and Auburn (#89) both hurt but at least they were on the road and still in the top 100. If we win these last two regular-season games I think we're in really good shape, especially as we may be judged by how we're performing and who we can beat without Horston.

Our seeding will come down to how play without Horston, I think the committee zero in on that i could be wrong just opinion.

Yes, if we win our last two games without Horston i believe the committee will view that. However, you can't look at the good wins and say "oh well" that's part of the resume as well.

NOT disagreeing at all but adding on to what you said.
