That is strange since she coached at Marshall (Huntington, WV) and Glenville State (Glenville, WV).That expression on CKC's face looked like a second round of "Toto, I have a feeling we're not in Morgantown anymore."
I wonder if that was the first game in Neyland for her assistant coaches, too?

In an interview las week, Kim said she hadn’t been to a game yet due to recruiting trips.Since there have been other home games this season I doubt this was Kim and the rest of the staff's first experience in Neyland, but it's definitely the first time this coach has hosted so many top recruits in one weekend and her face is giving, "Holy CRAP! Look how impressive this all is! Surely these young women will want four years of enjoying this kind of campus atmosphere. I mean, this is SO COOL!"
That might just be WERS picks not the actual or official. I was unable to tell from the tweet. It is interesting how Jewel has been totally ignored in the preseason picks this year after her all ACC accolades for a couple of years and her preseason pick last year to be all SEC. While I am not surprised given all the other talent in the league and perhaps not being quite as stellar in her SEC play as she was in ACC play, no one seems to even think of her when they are mentioning a possible LV star player. I am not sure how she will do with the intensive defensive style of CKC, but I can imagine she will really thrive in all the open 3s she is likely to get in the system. We really need this to be the case, as most of are other shooters other than Sara have an erratic history in their 3-point system. I can't wait to see Jewel prove the prognosticators wrong.
Alabama is well cochedMedia picking us 7th and surprisingly behind teams like Alabama and Ole Miss which we play both at home this year. I agree that the top three SC, Texas, and LSU are the most talented. After that comes Oklahoma fourth then you get Ole Miss and Alabama then Tennessee and Kentucky. I may be totally wrong but I think both Tennessee and Kentucky are better teams than Ole Miss and Alabama. I also think Oklahoma is an extremely bad matchup for them when they play us in Knoxville.
I was curious as to what that company did and how they came to be in West Virginia. Revealing my biases, I was fully expecting it to have originated with a Sen. Byrd federal research grant.Visited Special Metals there, in Huntington, to conduct an audit a couple of years ago. Extremely interesting history at that location.

The official media and coaches polls will probably be out tomorrow or Thurs as part of media days; Cora has indicated she has already voted. I expect those polls to be similar to the rest of the preseason polls we've seen, they've all been pretty consistent and consistent w how Cora said she voted. That might just be WERS picks not the actual or official. They are, and by a wife and hubby team LOL. Also loaded w SEC vet players who were on the rise last year. Yes we beat them down in the SEC tourney but that was one of our best games of the year. If we had gotten Nye I suspect our place and theirs might have looked different in the preseason predictions.Alabama is well coched
