My daVisited Special Metals there, in Huntington, to conduct an audit a couple of years ago. Extremely interesting history at that location.

Very interesting situation, and I think something could be done, mathematically, so, if mutually interested, there appears to be room.At 15 but I would make room....could something be done with Ace since she is from in state?
Thank you for documenting my thoughts. I recall watching her play and was impressed but at what cost to chemistry, playing time, NIL… lots of variables. Vetting these athletes is an art form and becoming increasingly so. Leaving Texas to go to Florida? Then leaving Florida for elsewhere? Kinda raises flags to me. The motivations behind the moves become extremely important.Very interesting situation, and I think something could be done, mathematically, so, if mutually interested, there appears to be room.
Chemistry? It's a tough call, but it's a cold, cold world out there. Does Coach Kim have a cold, cold heart?; because, at this wildly competitive level you have to get as good as you can, as fast as you can. From the emotional point of view, I would probably stand pat, primarily because we appear to have a very close-knit, team first group. From the trying-to-gain-every-opportunity-to-get-better point of view, well, she looks really good.
So, would our brain trust risk that hard-fought-for cohesiveness, even for a possible game-changer? I wouldn't judge either way. Just thinking out loud, however, what IF we were to try, and miss? Might be A O K in April-May. But, mid-season? And, she could hardly report for duty, now, right? *Unless, she's readying to cut bait and lose half-a-semester of course work - not necessarily a resume enhancer. So, more likely she begins practice during semester break? A lot to untangle here.
Micro? Fascinating.
Macro? It's complicated.
Cheers.
If the kid wants to play starting in Jan. and Kim’s system is tight to settle into…..Thank you for documenting my thoughts. The flags could not be more red. 4th school in 5 yrs and transfers on FLA now? Will have only half a season left to play, and in a system that takes time to learn? Give her a chunk of Ruby or Coopers mins, younger players with as much potential? Threaten the chemistry carefully built after a coaching change? This young lady is not that much of a game changer.Thank you for documenting my thoughts. Agree with all of this, and while she's a very good player (and in some ways could fit; she was 2nd in the SEC in steals/game last year), she shot 28% on 3s last year (25% in SEC games) and has had a negative, bad A/TO ratio at every one of her collegiate stops. The flags could not be more red. 4th school in 5 yrs and transfers on FLA now? If they did decide to take her on, I'm sure it would be w very, very careful consideration of all those factors. But I agree, I just don't see it.

Duke, North Carolina, West Virginia and TCU are all ranked way too high.
Maryland as well imo.
Several teams that were highly ranked last season and did nothing.
Using a different metaphor, preseason polls set the stage for when the curtains rise and the show begins.Yes preseason polls for the most part are garbage.
